Potato with meatballs in the oven
Essential Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp. l flour and sour cream of medium fat content;
- 0.4 kg of pork and ground beef;
- medium potatoes - 10 pcs.;
- long loaf - a pair of pieces;
- one onion;
- tomato paste - 1 tbsp. l .;
- milk of any fat content - ½ cup;
- one egg;
- favorite spices.
Practical part
- Let's start with the preparation of minced meat. Slices of rolls must be soaked in milk in advance. Press them. We send it to a meat grinder along with pieces of onion, beef and pork. Break the egg into the resulting mass. Solim. Sprinkle with your favorite spices. Mix.
- The recipe for juicy minced meat patties is simple. There are three rules to follow. Firstly, use several types of meat (in our case it is pork + beef). Secondly, add more onions and less bread to the minced meat. What else? Be sure to beat off the minced meat and mix it. You can also put a piece of butter inside the cutlet. So, we make small balls from minced meat. Roll each of them in flour.
- Take a round baking dish. We coat its bottom and edges with oil. We return to our wonderful cutlets. We spread them at the edges of the form, closing a circle. In the middle should be peeled potatoes (whole).
- Making the sauce. To do this, in a bowl combine the tomato paste with sour cream and water. Solim. Sprinkle with spices. Pour potatoes with meatballs with the resulting sauce.
- Preheat the oven (200 ° C). We put in it a form with the contents. How much will potatoes with cutlets in the oven be prepared? About 20-25 minutes. The dish is served hot. We distribute it on plates, decorating with sprigs of parsley or cilantro. We wish you all a pleasant appetite!
Oven cutlets with potatoes: recipe with tomato sauce
Grocery list:
- 3 pcs. onions and bell peppers;
- ripe tomatoes - 2 pcs.;
- 4 medium potatoes;
- ½ tbsp l tomato concentrate.
For cutlets:
- 1 tsp. seasonings cumin and black pepper in ground form;
- garlic - a pair of cloves;
- 450 g of ready-made minced beef;
- one onion;
- ground crackers - two handfuls are enough;
- salt - no more than ½ tsp.
Cooking process
Step number 1. In the bowl we spread the ground beef in the right amount. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and spices. Add garlic and chopped large onion. Solim. Knead the minced meat with clean hands. We make small round patties. We embed them on both sides.
Step No. 2. Peeled and washed potato tubers are cut into circles (optimal thickness is 1-2 cm). Chop the onion into thin rings. What to do with peppers? We wash them in running water. If the fruits are fleshy, then remove the seeds from them and cut into longitudinal slices.
Step No. 3. Take a glass (round) baking dish. We put the ingredients in it: cutlet, potato circle, onion ring. Alternate them until the products run out. At intervals we put a clove of garlic (whole). If you are not a fan of spicy dishes, then this can not be done.
Step number 4. Tomato concentrate diluted with ordinary water. With this mixture, water the ingredients that are in the form.
Step No. 5. Preheat the oven (200 ° C). We send the future dish covered with foil there. We notice 30 minutes. That's not all. Remove the foil. And on top of cutlets and potatoes we spread quarters of peppers and slices of tomatoes. Bake another half hour.
