  • white wheat flour - 1.5 cups (of which 2.5 large spoons for cream);
  • fat sour cream - 1.5 cups (in the dough ½ cup, the rest - in the cream);
  • fresh butter or baking margarine - 150 g;
  • table soda, extinguished with apple cider vinegar - ½ dessert spoon;
  • large chicken egg for cream - 1 pc.;
  • granulated sugar for cream - 1 cup;
  • sweet red apple - 4 pcs.

The Tsvetaevsky cake, the recipe of which includes a minimum of ingredients, should begin to be prepared by mixing the base. To do this, melt the margarine or fresh butter, and then cool it slightly, mix with thick sour cream, slaked table soda and wheat flour. As a result, you should get an oily and elastic dough. In order to easily be able to roll a layer from it, it is recommended to place it in a bag and then stand in the freezer for a quarter of an hour.
