How to make saury salad

And now I would like to mention another very delicious ingredient that is often found in salads - saury. Salads with saury are incredibly tasty, because the main thing is to cook them correctly! A few recipes are those and I would like to tell you.

Salad from saury "Bratislava"

For cooking you will need:

  • bank of saury (canned);
  • half a glass of rice;
  • 2 medium pickles;
  • 3 chicken eggs;
  • 100 g of hard cheese ;
  • 1 small onion head;
  • mayonnaise (best olive);
  • greens (dill with parsley is perfect)

At the very beginning of cooking, it is best to start boiling rice and eggs. In the meantime, cook, take on the preparation of saury. This process is not difficult - you just need to knead it with a fork. This can be done right at the bank.

When the eggs are cooked, cool them and cut into cubes or straws. Cucumbers also need to be chopped.

Once all the ingredients are ready, you can start mixing them: put in one plate the eggs, the cooled rice, cucumbers and saury. Add grated rice and mayonnaise to them. Stir and be sure to salt to taste. Now it remains only to decorate the resulting salad with finely chopped greens, stir again and it's time to serve it to the guests. So fast and tasty!

Salad from saury "Arion"

For cooking you will need:

  • 200 g saury (canned in oil);
  • 100 g squid (you can also take canned ones);
  • 2 fresh apples;
  • 50 g. Celery stalks ;
  • 70 g of nuts (for this salad it is better to take walnuts);
  • 1 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice;
  • 0.5 cups mayonnaise

As in the previous recipe, the fish needs to be mashed. After that, take the squids out of the jar and cut them into thin strips. Do the same with apples that need to be peeled first. Cut celery and then mix all of the above ingredients in one bowl. Now is the time for salad dressing, before which it must be sprinkled with lemon juice. Season the salad with mayonnaise and mix very well. When serving, sprinkle the dish with chopped walnuts.

Greek saury salad

For cooking you will need:

  • 200 g saury (canned);
  • 150 g hard cheese;
  • clove of garlic;
  • olive oil;
  • olives;
  • black pepper (ground);
  • salt;
  • spicy herbs (you can take cilantro, sage and tarragon)

Start by preparing the cheese. For this salad you need to grate it on a coarse grater and add crushed garlic to it. For this salad, it will not be enough just to crush the saury with a fork, for example, you will have to grind it in a blender, and if you do not have such an opportunity, you can simply scroll it through a meat grinder. Add the fish to the cheese and, adding butter, seasonings and most herbs, stir the salad thoroughly. And just before serving, decorate it with olives (for this purpose it is better to give preference to seedless olives) and greens, which must first be finely chopped with a knife.

Hot saury salad

For cooking you will need:

  • 3 banks of saury (canned);
  • 8 eggs;
  • 5 tablespoons of rice;
  • 4 medium onion heads;
  • greens;
  • vegetable oil

For this salad, you will also need to grind the contents of canned fish as much as possible. Immediately after this, start cooking onions - you must first chop it, and then fry it in a pan with vegetable oil (it is better to prefer slicing in half rings).

In the meantime, start cooking eggs and rice. Boiled eggs need to be finely chopped, and rice just removed from the water.

After all the ingredients are ready, they need to be mixed in one dish and seasoned with the oil left in the pan after frying the onions. This salad is decorated with herbs and served warm.
