There is a mysterious bond between brother and sister. They discovered it in childhood. This is a rational explanation of the connection with the other world. Since childhood, knowing that they were dangerously ill and could die at any moment, they promised each other: the one who dies of them first will give a sign to the survivor. True, they did not agree on the method. Therefore, Maureen has been living for several months waiting for at least some signal from her dead brother.
