Fantastic melodrama with action elements is a joint cinema product of two countries - India and the USA - under the leadership of S. Levy. Plot
In the near future, boxing fights between people are strictly prohibited. They were replaced in the ring by humanoid remotely controlled robots. Charlie, who did not become a successful boxer, is trying to win the title using his iron assistants. But all attempts are unsuccessful.
The protagonist owes a lot of money due to losses and is forced to live with the daughter of a former coach. Suddenly his ex-wife dies, and Charlie has to take custody of her young son. He decides to sell the right to educate the boy to strangers and buy a new robot with these funds.
The acquisition did not bring him victory, but the son, who should temporarily stay with his father, accidentally finds a pretty good specimen in the garbage. The iron fighter Atom after restoration can be controlled not only by voice, but also repeat all movements of the owner.
Thanks to this, the father and son first gain a slight victory, and then take part in a very serious battle. An atom with great difficulty and serious damage receives a reward. Charlie finally becomes attached to her son and does not want to part with him. The actors of "Living Steel" became friends on the set due to the image of the father and son and are still in touch after the shooting. For some time, Dakota even came to visit Hugh.
