However, there is a second theory, according to which the Clouds cocktail is named just like that - supposedly for the destructive power with which even one shot is able to knock down an unprepared taster on the shoulder blades. The recipe for the Clouds cocktail, as it was originally conceived, is quite simple:

  1. First you need to prepare a chilled high glass.
  2. First of all, light sambuca is poured in an amount of 20 ml.
  3. Then comes a layer of silver tequila and absinthe in the same amount. In some cases, the bartender instead of 20 ml adds less absinthe, for example, 10.
  4. The finishing touches are Blue Curacao and Beilis Irish Cream - 5 ml each.

In order to get the same lamb, you must carefully build a cocktail. You can’t just pour alcohol into a glass, you should use a spoon and add everything slowly. Both liquors are needed for decoration, a couple of drops will be enough.

The composition of the Clouds cocktail does not always include absinthe and Blue Curacao liquor. In some cases, a simplified version is served that does not hit the unprepared person so hard. The drink is beloved by couples in love for a fabulous performance in a glass.

There is an absolutely excellent option, which is prepared in a shaker or using blend technology. The recipe is as follows:

  • 30 ml Amaretto and 15 ml Baileys pour into a blender;
  • add 30 grams of vanilla ice cream;
  • mix thoroughly and pour into a tall glass;
  • garnish the drink with a whipped cream cap;
  • add a cherry.

In addition, there is also a third variation, in which the sequence and traditional recipe are preserved, but white rum is used instead of sambuca. Absinthe in such a drink is not. It is somewhat softer and, judging by the reviews, sweeter, which the girls will highly appreciate. On the other hand, the initial version of the cocktail is much more common.
