What is krill meat good for and what can be made from it

Krill meat is one of the most valuable sources of protein, amino acids, provitamins and mineral salts. You will get sodium, iodine, potassium and other useful substances if you regularly eat this product, since it’s possible to make a lot of it. Antarctic shrimp meat helps to remove radionuclides and toxins from the body, helps to normalize metabolism and resists obesity. It is enough to eat 100 g of this meat per day to get all the necessary supply of nutrients.

Stuffed Krill Meat Tomatoes

Let's start with the appetizers. We take 4 large fresh tomatoes, cut off the upper part, partially select the pulp and put the minced meat in the recess. Minced meat consists of 1 chopped egg, 4 tablespoons of chopped krill meat, chopped pulp of tomatoes and a pair of onion feathers, also chopped. Stuff the mince with mayonnaise. To make jelly, you will need 7 g of gelatin per glass of shrimp broth. Soak the jelly in water (1 to 5), wait until it swells, put in the broth and boil until the gelatin dissolves.

We buy boiled frozen krill meat (250 g), defrost (naturally, and not in the microwave!), Knead with a fork. We cut one tomato and one cucumber into small cubes. We mix everything and add 1 cup of boiled rice, ½ cup of canned corn (can be peas) and chopped green onions. Season with mayonnaise or sour cream.

Tartlets with krill meat

You can buy 20 ready-made tartlets, or you can cook them yourself. To do this, grate 100 g margarine, mix with salt and 50 g sour cream. Then add flour to make an elastic dough. Put the dough in tartlets and bake.

Melt one hundred grams of butter, add 100 g of krill (chopped) and chopped dill to it. Stir and add 50 g of red caviar. The resulting mass fill tartlets.

Shrimp oil with onions

50 g of finely chopped onions should be sautéed in butter. 30 g of krill meat should be passed through a meat grinder together with 2 yolks and onions, then mixed with softened butter and beat. Use chilled.

Krill meat: asparagus recipe

Thaw 400 g of krill meat and cut each neck into a couple of pieces. Half an asparagus cook in salt water (15 minutes is enough) and cool. Lettuce leaves put on the bottom of the salad bowl, top with a mixture of asparagus and meat. Then mix 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise, 5 tablespoons of cream, 200 g of mussels, add a couple drops of lemon juice for taste, a pinch of red and white pepper, salt and sugar. Add it all to the salad and garnish with chopped dill.

Cheese and krill Salad

For this salad, you can take both fresh cucumbers and pickles - whichever you like best. 1 cut the cucumber into slices (if fresh, peel it beforehand), chop 1 apple, 2 eggs, chop the onion greens finely, rub 100 g of cheese, cut the krill meat. Mix everything, add 5 tablespoons of green peas and mayonnaise. For decoration, you can use sprigs of dill and parsley.

Vegetable salad with krill meat

Boil 2 pcs. potatoes, carrots and eggs, peel and cut into cubes. 3 small tomatoes cut into slices. Mix, add 200 g of krill meat, 5 tablespoons of canned peas, 100 g of grated cheese and mayonnaise. We decorate the dish with dill.

Krill Meat Soup

Half a kilo of krill meat is thawed and cut into pieces. 1 carrot, 1 onion and parsley root are passaged. Add meat and 1.5 cups of canned peas, then scroll 2 times through a meat grinder or wipe through a sieve. Add broth, white sauce, cook for 5 minutes, then season with 0.5 cup of cream.
