Foot bath

This procedure is very popular in Northern Europe. Water is poured into the tank, the temperature of which is thirty-seven degrees, and then gradually added hot water until the legs can withstand the temperature. This improves the blood supply to the nasal mucosa. Our domestic addition to this procedure is a few tablespoons of dry mustard in water. And the beneficial effect will be much more noticeable!

Salt with lemon

What helps with a cold, they know in Romania. Squeeze half a lemon and dilute the juice with a teaspoon of salt and fifty grams of water. Dial the resulting mixture into a pipette and drip into the nose. The treatment is quite extreme and unpleasant, but they can cure a cold in two ways. But be very careful: the mucus from the nose with the active blasting can get into the auditory tube, and this is the right way to acute otitis media.

Horseradish

There are native German remedies for the common cold. The most popular of them looks like this: grind horseradish with sugar and apple, and use the resulting mixture one tablespoon several times a day. Horseradish contains substances that destroy harmful bacteria and viruses. At the same time, it, unlike onions or garlic, is positively perceived by the body, without destroying the bacteria of the intestinal flora.

North American Indians also had their funds for the common cold. They used the bog plant. It contains elements that can activate the strength of the immune system. You can buy a plant in a pharmacy. The recipe is as follows: pour a couple of teaspoons of grass with half a liter of chilled boiled water and insist for four hours. Take one hundred milliliters ten minutes before meals three to four times a day.

All these cold remedies are widespread abroad, but completely different methods are popular with us.

Kerosene

Everyone probably knows about the benefits of mustard in the treatment of the common cold, but few people know that kerosene has a similar effect! Naturally, you do not need to drink it. Before going to bed, grease their legs, and also attach a rag dipped in kerosene to them and put on woolen socks. In the morning you will feel much better.

Diphenhydramine

This remedy will cure you in just two days! Take a quarter of the tablet, crumble it and add a little water to make a viscous, fairly thick slurry. After that, blow your nose thoroughly, and then lubricate the nasal cavity with a mixture of Diphenhydramine and water. It will burn strongly, so keep baby cream ready and, if necessary, lubricate their nose, otherwise irritation will appear.

There is another way associated with Diphenhydramine. Add in two hundred grams of water one ampoule of this substance and two tablets of "Furacilin". Pipette this solution and drip into the pipette as often as possible. Unlike the first remedy, this option is painless, in addition, it is quite easy. But you need to do the procedures quite often - initially every fifteen minutes, gradually increasing the interval between doses. In three days you will feel better.

A runny nose is not such a terrible disease, but, nevertheless, it is better to consult a good doctor, because a stuffy nose can signal very serious gaps in the body that are not limited to a common cold. And be careful with self-medication!
