The drug "Levofloxacin-Teva" (tablets) refers to antimicrobial agents. The medication is active in aerobic and anaerobic gram-positive and gram-negative microbes.

When ingested, the drug is evenly distributed throughout the tissues, organs and body fluids. A small amount is oxidized or deacetylated in the liver. Excretion is carried out with urine (mainly), a certain amount of the drug comes out with feces.

Levofloxacin tablets are recommended for use in infectious lesions provoked by drug-sensitive microorganisms. Diseases, in particular, include community-acquired pneumonia, acute bronchitis (in the acute phase), and acute sinusitis. The drug "Levofloxacin" recommended for use in the treatment of pathologies of the urinary tract and kidneys, soft tissues, and intra-abdominal infection. The drug is prescribed for infection of the skin, with chronic bacterial prostatitis, bacteremia / septicemia (due to these diseases). Treatment of chronic prostatitis (bacterial) is carried out in a dose of 500 mg once a day. Therapy is carried out for 28 days.

As part of a comprehensive treatment, the drug "Levofloxacin" for tuberculosis is prescribed in a dose of 500 mg. Take tablets no more than twice a day for no longer than three months.

For bacterial infections of the eyes, the drug "Levofloxacin" (eye drops) is used. Instillations are carried out every two hours (no more than eight times a day). After the first two days, the dosage is reduced and in the next three to seven days they are instilled every four hours. Do not inject more than two drops of the solution into one eye. Instillations are carried out in both eyes.
