Today, almost every gardener tries to plant sea buckthorn on the site, since it has healing properties. So, fruits and juice have a bactericidal effect, stimulate the digestion process, and aromatic oil heals wounds, burns, trophic ulcers. This berry is rich in multivitamins, iron, manganese and many other macro and micro elements. Sea buckthorn, the recipes for which will be given below, is a good addition to the treatment of colds.
Sea buckthorn oil is prepared as follows: juice from fresh berries is squeezed out, the cake is dried and ground in a coffee grinder. Then it is poured with warmed sunflower oil at the rate of 1: 2 and left for one day, after which the oil is drained and consumed for medicinal purposes.

2. Walnuts and sea buckthorn (jam).
Ingredients: one kilogram of berries, two hundred grams of nuts, one and a half kilograms of sugar, two glasses of water.
The nuts are crushed to the state of cereals, put them in sugar syrup and boiled for twenty minutes. Then add the fruits of sea buckthorn and boil for another half hour.
3. Milk and sea buckthorn (recipes of Ukrainian cuisine).
Ingredients: five hundred grams of milk, sea buckthorn juice with pulp.
The milk is cooled, five tablespoons of sea buckthorn juice are added to it along with sugar, whipped with a blender. Serve the drink cooled in large glasses.
4. Sweet pastries from sea buckthorn berries.
Ingredients: five hundred grams of sea buckthorn, three hundred grams of flour, two hundred grams of sugar, half a glass of milk, one and a half tablespoons of starch and baking powder, one spoon of soda, a pinch of salt, three tablespoons of vegetable oil.
The berries are washed, rubbed with a sieve so as to get one glass of juice. Milk and butter are added to it. Flour, baking soda, sugar, starch, salt and baking powder are combined and mixed well, juice with milk is added and mixed again.
The baking dish is covered with parchment, the dough is laid out, on top of which several berries are placed. Bake in the oven for thirty minutes, then remove the baked goods and cool.
Thus, sea buckthorn, the recipes for which is quite diverse, has not only good taste characteristics, but also healing properties. It has long been used in folk medicine as a cold medicine, and wounds healed with its help. Today, this berry is no less popular and is used both in cooking, and in cosmetology and medicine.
