"Don" is a medicine that replenishes endogenous (internal) glucosamine deficiency. The tool is able to favorably affect the cartilage of the joint, stopping the destruction in it, strengthening its structure.

The medication is available in the form of bags (sachets). They contain powder for the preparation of a solution for internal use. Also available in the form of a solution for injection.

The drug "Dona" is a medicine with anti-inflammatory and chondrostimulating effects. The medication is able to stop the development of degenerative processes inside the joints, reduce the intensity of pain, restore joint function.

The effect of using the Don drug (reviews of many patients and doctors testify to this) occurs already after two weeks from the start of use. Patients noted significant improvements in mobility and the elimination of discomfort and unpleasant painful sensations.

The drug "Don" includes glucosamine sulfate, purified quite carefully from macromolecular elements.

The medication is prescribed for osteoarthritis (osteoarthritis) of different localization, including with damage to the hip and knee joints.

It is recommended that adults take the medicine in a sachet (1.5 g each) for four to twelve weeks once a day. For use, the contents of the sachet should be dissolved in a glass of water. It is recommended to take before meals for twenty minutes. If necessary, courses of therapy are repeated with an interval of two months.

Intramuscular administration is recommended for adults at 400 mg (1 ampoule) four or six weeks three times a week. Before injection, the drug is mixed in the same syringe with the supplied solvent. Intramuscular administration is allowed to be used in combination with taking the drug inside.

Cases of drug overdose in clinical practice are not described.

The drug "Dona" is contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to the components, phenylketonuria (when using sachets, includes aspartame), children under twelve years old, with lactation, severe cardiovascular insufficiency, pregnancy, history of epileptiform seizures (when using an injection, includes lidocaine).

When using the medication inside, flatulence, constipation, urticaria, diarrhea, itching are possible.

After administration intramuscularly, the patient may feel dizziness, vomiting, diplopia, drowsiness, numbness of the mucous membrane in the mouth and tongue, euphoria, disorientation, nausea, and dysfunction of the heart.

In some cases, patients noted a significant increase in pain at first when using the drug "Don". However, later there was relief.

Ingestion of the drug is able to increase in tetracyclines, in semi-synthetic penicillins and chloramphenicol, to reduce absorption.

The medication is compatible with glucocorticoids and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.

The drug "Don" (injection) is prescribed with caution simultaneously with digitoxin, beta-blockers, aymaline, quinidine, hexenal, sodium thiopental, verapamil, cimetidine, sedatives or hypnotics.
