For a long time, potatoes have occupied almost the main place on our tables. They fry it, boil it, bake it, make soups and roast with it - in general, it is the most indispensable vegetable for Russians, which is popular all year round. But you must admit that many traditional potato dishes are already bored and familiar, and sometimes you want to treat yourself and your loved ones with something special, unusual, but not very difficult to prepare. First you need to prepare all the ingredients for our delicious dish. It is necessary to take:
- one and a half kilograms of potatoes (pick up tubers of approximately the same size),
- 100 grams of cheese (preferably hard)
- 100 grams of ham (bacon is also suitable)
- 2 raw chicken eggs,
- one and a half to two glasses of vegetable oil (it is advisable to choose a smellless oil)
- breadcrumbs
- spices to taste (salt and pepper are mandatory components, but if for piquancy you want to add a little curry or ground paprika to them, it will only taste better).
Thoroughly wash the potato tubers with a brush and set it to boil right in its uniforms. While preparing the main ingredient, we will prepare everything you need for perfect potato balls. We thoroughly beat the eggs with a fork or beat with a mixer until smooth, adding a pinch of salt and pepper to it. Pour crackers in a dry clean plate, if desired, you can add a few spices to them - it will turn out sharper. Cheese and ham, cut into small cubes (not more than 1 centimeter) and also pour into a separate plate.
Cool the potatoes slightly, remove the uniform from it and knead in mashed potatoes (you can add another egg for viscosity).
