The former guitarist of the rock band Sunday, who produced the notorious group Lyceum, was a songwriter, architect and decorator. Makarevich Alexey Lazarevich was born in 1954, November 13.
His father, Lazar Natanovich Meerovich, worked as an engineer at a pilot plant of a scientific institute, and received several patents for inventions. Mother - biologist Makarevich Vera Grigoryevna, whose last name was later taken by Alexei.
After graduating from high school, he entered the Moscow Architectural Institute, after which he received the profession of an architect.
In the seventies of the last century, Alexei Makarevich created the "Danger Zone" group. Subsequently, it was renamed the Kuznetsk Bridge. For some time he performed as part of the ensemble "Sunday".
In the early nineties they organized a musical trio "Lyceum", where the role of lead soloist was given to his adopted daughter Nastya.
In early 2002, Alexey participated in the Become a Star project, where he selected talented musical youth.

He had two children: one daughter, Varvara, born in 1987, was a native, and Nastya, born in 1977, was an adopted.

Production activities
The group "Lyceum" was the musician's favorite brainchild. In this case, he not only produced a very successful project. He himself created costumes for soloists, performed the functions of a stylist. Most of the songs for the group were written by him, including the main hit of the Lyceum - Autumn. He is the author of both music and the words of this catchy composition.
In total, the group released ten music albums, such as House Arrest (1993), Steam Engine Cloud (1996), Forty-Four Minutes (2005), and others.
The band first performed in 1991 on the television "Morning Star" with a song from the ABBA repertoire. The very next year, they presented their own work, Saturday Night, in Muzoboz. The author was Alexei Makarevich. Photo soloists immediately appeared in all musical youth periodicals.
According to the results of 1994, the group was recognized as the best in the Musical Exam (a television project of the early nineties).
1995 brought the “Ovation” prize (“Opening of the Year” nomination) to the Lyceum.
After the death of his father, Anastasia independently began to produce a pop group, slightly changing its name.

In one of the interviews, Alexey recalled the creation of the Lyceum. During the period when he was a member of the collective "Sunday", his sense of unfulfillment sharply intensified.
At this time, the age and development of Nastya approached the level when, with the support of her talented girlfriends, it became possible to create a youth creative team. Alexey used it as a training ground where he could realize his imagination and creative ideas. As he confessed, mercantile intentions were also pursued.
The title embodied the idea that the young participants of the project, gradually and correctly studying, embark on a professional musical path.
At first, the style of the team was dominated by white (shirts) and blue (jeans). This is how Alex saw the embodiment of the musical language of the group, guitar rhythms.
The most important component in this project, as a single organism, was the song lyrics.
It was unacceptable to exploit too childish subjects. White shades were supposed to give confidence and festivity to the girls' performance. The presence of jeans spoke of democracy, which should be clear to anyone on planet Earth. The use of guitars embodied veracity and so on.
According to Alexei, the most successful combination of form and content was found for that turbulent, rapidly changing time. He thus found the possibility of realizing his feelings.
The main feature of this girl group, in his words, was the presence of a certain message in the songs they performed. Participants in the pop group went to the audience not to demonstrate their beauty, but to convey something to everyone.
