You can "crunch" them just like that by pricking a skewer, but most often chicken croquettes are served with side dishes or with specially prepared sauces (cheese, cream, cream). By the way, you can prepare a dish from a solo product, or you can create a duet. Or to compose a real symphony of fillings. The main notes can be poultry and meat, potatoes with carrots, cabbage with cheese and mushrooms. In total, as they say, do not count! Stuffing is molded in the form of small balls or "fingers", then the semi-finished product is crumbled in breadcrumbs and beaten eggs, and then deep-fried or baked in the oven.

For the dish we will need the following ingredients: chicken fillet (it is better to take chilled rather than frozen) - 1 kilogram, 2 eggs, a pack of breadcrumbs (better not to save), salt and pepper - at will and preference, a couple of garlic cloves, a lot of vegetable oil deep-fried, a little mustard. If you are going to bake chicken croquettes in the oven, then a lot of butter is not necessary - just grease the pan.

How to cook

  1. We wash the fillet and clean it from the films (if any). Cut into pieces and place in a blender. We chop quite large.
  2. Mix the chicken and the broken raw egg well (you can add chopped onions). Cool for at least an hour under the film.
  3. Next, we form croquettes from minced meat - whetstones or koloboks.
  4. We prepare the breading in a separate plate. Beat the second egg and send it to a separate container.
  5. Bread balls or whetstones in bread crumbs. By the way, after that you can freeze them for up to two months or cover and place in the refrigerator for the night to fry them the next day.
  6. Fry the croquettes in a well-heated oil in a pan (do not spare the oil!) Over medium heat, turning in all directions, until golden brown on all sides for about 10-15 minutes. For a healthier version, they can be baked in about 25-30 minutes in an oven heated to 200 degrees Celsius.
  7. The dish is ready, and you can serve it to the table. It goes well with sauces: sour cream, ketchup or others familiar to you.
