So sometimes you want to pamper your family with something tasty. Alternatively, you can try baking a sponge cake. It turns out tasty and satisfying enough. A biscuit cake recipe can be chosen from all the variety that modern cooking can boast of.
Not all lovers of delicious pastries know how to make a biscuit cake. When guests are on the doorstep, itβs easier and faster to run to the store and buy a ready-made sweet tooth dish. But how pleasant it is to bake a biscuit cake with your own hands. I bring to your attention several interesting recipes that you can easily use at home.
Recipe for sponge cake N1: "Drunk Cherry"
This cake is made from one tall cake. It is important to follow some rules during baking, first of all, in order to prevent donkey cake. But first things first.
Ingredients: for the test: 3 cups sugar, 2.5-3 cups flour, 10 eggs, 1 tbsp cocoa, 2 tsp baking powder, a pinch of vanillin; for cream - 0.5 kg of butter, 1 can of condensed milk, 0.5 kg of ripe cherries, 3 tbsp cocoa, cognac, 100 g of walnut; for glaze - 3 tbsp sour cream, 5 tbsp sugar, 2 tbsp cocoa, 1 tbsp butter.
Preparation: Cherry, pre-peeled, pour cognac and insist more than 12 hours. If the cherry is very sour, then a couple of spoons of sugar can be added to it.
Beat sugar and eggs with a mixer until thick foam. Without stopping whipping, add vanillin and cocoa. Gently pour the baking powder, and then the flour. Beat the whole mass to a homogeneous consistency.
We take a baking dish (an ideal option would be a split mold), grease it with butter and sprinkle lightly with flour. Pour the dough into the mold and put it for 1.5 hours in the oven preheated to 160 C (the second level from the bottom). Then remove the biscuit from the mold, cover it with a damp cloth and put it in the oven again, but for 30 minutes and now to the lower level. After this, take out the sponge cake and let it cool. Carefully cut off its upper part and remove the flesh from the middle with a spoon, leaving a side 2 cm thick.
While the cake is baking, prepare the cream. To do this, beat the butter well with a mixer, add the condensed milk and cocoa to it. Add the cherry and pulp from the sponge cake. Put the whole mass in biscuit cake, add chopped walnuts to the same place. Close the cake with the top and decorate the cake with icing and cherries. To prepare the glaze, put all the ingredients in a pan and cook until the mass thickens.

Preparation: Beat the eggs and sugar with a mixer until a thick consistency, add soda, slaked with vinegar, and flour. Mix everything well and put the dough on a baking sheet with a tablespoon in such a way as to make small cakes. Bake in a preheated oven until cooked.
Cooking the cream: put all the ingredients in a deep bowl and beat with a mixer until thick.
5-6 cakes put aside - of them we will make the head, legs and tail. Take a cake and dip it in cream. We spread all the cakes on a dish in the form of a slide to make a tortoise shell. Fill everything on top with the remaining cream and attach the head, host and paws to our turtle.
