Steaks with tomatoes

For four servings, you will need about one kilogram of meat. Wash the beef tenderloin and divide into pieces 1-1.5 cm thick. Lightly beat them with a kitchen hammer. Season the meat with salt and pepper. Fold the steaks in a glass dish and leave them in it for half an hour. This must be done in order to avoid the “salt crust” effect.

Then heat vegetable oil to a boil in a pan. You will need it about fifty grams. Dip steaks into it and fry on both sides, for five minutes each. After this, the meat must be brought to full readiness in the oven. Its temperature should be at least 170 degrees. Put the steaks on a baking sheet, simmer them in the oven for 15 minutes.

prepare a sauce for her. Finely chop 6 cloves of garlic, a few sprigs of thyme and three to four tomatoes. All this must be immersed in the oil left over from the steaks, sautéed over low heat for 15-20 minutes.

Put the prepared meat from the oven on large plates. Add the tomato, garlic and thyme sauce to the steaks. Serve to the table.

Beef tenderloin is also suitable for cooking steaks. Their recipe is very similar to the steak recipe (except for braising in the oven). But just fried meat can be tough. To avoid this, pickle sliced ​​beef for a couple of hours in a brine consisting of water (1 liter), sugar (0.5 cups), salt (1 teaspoon), juice of half a lemon.
