In Moscow, next to the famous Chistye Prudy, an institution with an intriguing sign “Happiness” was comfortably located. This name alone makes passersby stop and look at the restaurant: maybe, really, happiness is there?
Interior
Cafe Happiness (Moscow) on Chistoprudny Boulevard is a branch of the St. Petersburg restaurant of the same name. Like other establishments of this network, it is decorated in a loft style. The interior of the room is very light, airy, despite the abundance of massive elements: heavy chandeliers and lamps, voluminous furniture and, of course, large gypsum angels with dreamy faces.
The latter seem redundant here. Perhaps the owners of the network associate happiness with these inhabitants of the heavenly office, but visitors do not share their opinions. These figures were never distinguished by grace, but over time they also lost their whiteness and smoothness.
The room is decorated in white and light beige colors. Yes, beautiful, but somewhat reminiscent of a hospital room. The restaurant’s sterile whiteness is diluted with rare patches of delicate greenery: vases with fragile bouquets are on the tables. It looks very elegant and fresh in spring. And when else to think about the coming happiness, if not in the spring?
Light wooden tables and soft sofas are combined here with deliberately aged buffets and unprocessed brick walls. The skillful hands of designers and decorators have clearly worked for more than one day over authentic scuffs on shelves and doors. In general, a characteristic feature of the style of this institution is a bold mix of time-tested classics and cutting-edge elements.
In the design of the restaurant, designers used a lot of natural materials: stone, wood, textiles. This creates a warm and cozy atmosphere in the institution, which is greatly facilitated by living plants in tubs.
Brand design chef Dmitry Reshetnikov was involved in the design of the Happiness restaurant chain. He was the menu of the institution.

Menu
They worked on the restaurant menu no less carefully than on the design of the hall. That's why it includes only the most luxurious dishes of the three best cuisines of the world - Spanish, Italian and French.
The menu is designed in such a way that it meets the needs of most visitors. That is why here you can find a completely standard set of dishes loved by Russians: Caesar and Greek salads, Bolognese pasta and carbonara pasta. Restaurant guests will also be offered cheese, meat and vegetable dishes.
The menu of the Happiness cafe (Moscow, Chistye Prudy) turned out to be voluminous: it features 12 salads, 12 pastas, 6 soups, 9 fish and 13 meat hot dishes, carpaccio. Along with the usual, well-known dishes, the menu also has such original items as pasta with salmon and spinach and mint sauce or pasta with pumpkin, gorgonzolla, mushrooms and tomatoes. The meat dishes are diverse: the restaurant serves dishes of rabbit, lamb, chicken, duck and beef. The choice of fish is slightly less - salmon, halibut and dorada. In addition to fish, octopuses, tiger shrimps, squids and scallops are cooked here.
Desserts and Alcohol
Desserts deserve special attention: they are wonderful in Happiness. Probably not without reason the owners of this restaurant decided to open a network of their own confectioneries. They want to bring to life those recipes that simply did not fit in the Happiness menu.
For dessert, you can order several types of macaroons, meringues, profiteroles and homemade cookies. Milkshakes, widely presented on the menu, are perfect for these delicacies.
The wine list of the restaurant is not very large. It was developed by chef sommelier Alina Rapold. But the bar card, developed by bar manager Alexei Trunov, will delight lovers of light and tasty alcoholic cocktails.

Breakfasts in this institution are able to cheer up even a person who has to take work at 6 in the morning. Here is a wide selection of cereals, cereals, muffins, cottage cheese pancakes and pancakes generously seasoned with fresh fruits and berries. For fans of sweet treats, restaurant chefs are ready to cook croissants or cakes decorated with berry jam.
This fruit and berry splendor will be especially enjoyable for children: they will gladly eat a portion of oatmeal so unloved by many. By the way, for kids in the restaurant there is a separate menu.
Breakfast on weekdays ends at 12.00, but on weekends it continues until 18.00!
The restaurant has a business lunch, the menu of which is valid only on weekdays, from 12.00 to 16.00. Restaurant guests can order a set lunch of two (250 rubles) or three (280 rubles) dishes.
The prices in the restaurant are relatively low. The average bill is 1000-1500 p.

Since Happiness is a whole network of cafes and restaurants on the territory of St. Petersburg and Moscow, everyone who is satisfied with his “brothers” in other cities comes into the institution.
The cafe staff will be happy to see visitors with children: a separate menu has been created for them with a mass of tasty and healthy dishes. Sweet cocktails and delicate desserts with fresh berries and fruits will not leave indifferent any kid.
There is no dress code in the establishment, so any passerby can drop in here to have a cup of coffee or a glass of refreshing lemonade.
Reviews
Most of the guests, once visiting the Happiness Cafe in Moscow (addresses will be indicated slightly below), return there again and again. They like everything: menu, interior design, service. This place is especially liked by mothers with children and couples in love. The former are satisfied with the quality of the dishes and the polite attitude of the staff towards the kids; the second likes the romantic atmosphere of the institution and the relatively low prices. Many visitors choose this place for the holidays.
However, there are also negative reviews. Restaurant guests complain that the taste of dishes is not up to par. Comparing this restaurant with a similar restaurant in St. Petersburg, visitors make a choice in favor of the second, because they see better service and more friendly staff there.
By the way, a large number of negative impressions of the guests is caused by the staff. Visitors complain about the sluggishness of the waitresses, their unfriendly, and sometimes simply boorish attitude towards the restaurant guests.
