Kurotsuchi Mayuri is a very controversial character in the anime and manga Bleach. Kurotsuchi Mayuri has a very bright appearance that distinguishes him from all the members of Gotey 13. His head is always hidden by an elaborate headdress: whether it be a white hat with a visor turned sideways; a blue headdress similar to Nemes (the royal headdress of the pharaoh), a hat in the form of the sun. Mayuri loves various gold jewelry. He is usually dressed in shinigami uniforms, wearing a white robe from above. Mayuri weighs 54 kg and is 174 cm tall.
Mayuri's face and body are always covered in black and white make-up. He has black nails, one of which is much longer than the rest. This hero has blue hair, golden eyes. Sometimes he paints with gold and teeth. In place of the ears are gold cones. Mayuri's face is almost always a terrible grin. Mayuri is an evil scientist in the usual sense of the word. For the sake of his research, he does not spare other people's lives and his own body. Past
Almost nothing is known about Kurotsuchi Mayuri’s childhood. He was a particularly dangerous criminal who was kept separately from other prisoners, fearing for their safety. Urahara Kiske rescued him from there - at that time the captain of the 12th detachment and the head of the Shinigami research center. The reasons for this decision are unknown, perhaps it was Urohara who once arrested Mayuri.
Mayuri was offered to become Urohara's deputy at the research center. He agreed, although he did not trust Kiske to the end. Mayuri took the place of the third officer Gotheus 13. He helped Urohara in his research, devoting himself to science.
Later, when Urohara Kiske was expelled from the Society of Souls, Mayuri took the place of the captain of the 12th detachment and headed the Shinigami Research Center.
First appearance and further biography
Following the infiltration of Ichigo and his friends into Seyriutei, Ishida Uryuu, the last Quincy, encountered Kurotsuchi Mayuri. Having previously conducted many experiments on the souls of murdered Quincy, Mayuri became interested in the guy and wished to capture him alive in order to make him an experimental one. Isis was able to fight back, although he was poisoned by the poison of the Mayan Bankai. Kurotsuchi was seriously injured. Literally turning into a liquid, he fled from the scene of the battle.

Mayuri himself is not subject to the action of this poison, moreover, he periodically changes components so that no one can invent antidotes.
