Mikhail Lvov is a poet of the Soviet Union. He is famous not only for his creativity, but also for the merits that he showed during the Second World War. His courage was admired by many comrades and even commanders.
Biography of Mikhail Lvov
Mikhail Davydovich was born on January 4, 1917 in the Republic of Bashkortostan. The name given to him at birth sounded like Malikov Rafkat Davletovich.
The pseudonym “Mikhail Lvov”, under which the poet wrote his creations, he explained very simply - one of Rafkat’s most favorite poets was Mikhail Lermontov, from whom he took his name; he took the surname on behalf of Leo Tolstoy, who was for Rafkat one of the most outstanding and talented classics of Russian literature.
Poet's family
Mikhail's father was a simple teacher in the village where the poet was born. Already many years after the end of the Civil War, it became known that the father of Mikhail Lvov was an ardent revolutionary. During the Civil War, the poet's father almost died, protecting the interests of his homeland.
Mother, graduating from school-gymnasium in Zlatoust, received a gold medal for excellent study.
However, the mother could not help the boy in school - he was seriously ill, she died when Mikhail was not even one year old. The boy was raised all his life by one father, putting in Michael all the knowledge and skills necessary for a man.
At the age of six, Mikhail Lvov helped his father in hard work. Father taught Michael to plow the ground, mow grass, cut firewood. The boy, though it was hard, but he never complained, seeing how hard it was for his father to keep the household alone. At an early age, Mikhail Lvov became a huge support for his father, who, in turn, was very grateful to his son throughout his life. Years later, Mikhail’s father will say how much proud his son is. “A real man who knows how to work with both hands and head. He did everything so that I could really be proud of him, ”- this is what my father said about Michael, already on his deathbed.
Education
Despite the fact that Mikhail spent all his childhood in a typical Tatar family, he was fluent in Russian.
After graduating from school and growing up, Mikhail Lvov followed in his father's footsteps - the young poet entered the pedagogical college in Miass. At this stage of education, Mikhail decided not to stop - after graduating from college, while still at a young age, the poet entered the Maxim Gorky Literary Institute.
In 1941, Mikhail Lvov already made sketches for his own works. As a college student, he began writing his first book, which was released in 1940.
Interest in literature
The most important moment in his creative career was the help of school teacher Mikhail Lvov. Teaching the boy literature, the teacher noticed his talent for writing poetry and prose. Then the teacher decided to take up the development of writing talent with his student.
First of all, the teacher gave Mikhail Lvov a huge list of world classics, including Russian writers. After reading each book, Mikhail had to write several pages of the work in the same style as the author of the work. Thus, the list that the teacher gave Mikhail Lvov was completely read only three years later.
This literature teacher greatly influenced the further development of Mikhail's literary talent. That is what became the poet's first literary school.
War years
With the advent of 1941, the war affected everyone. While studying and working, Mikhail Lvov spent a lot of time on construction sites that were held in the Urals. But the more time passed, the clearer it became that Russia needed help in this war. Then Mikhail Lvov with his comrades signed up as a volunteer. Having become a soldier, he spent the whole war in the tank troops of the Soviet Union.
Mikhail Lvov went along many roads with his tank detachment. Such military paths to a peaceful life were Ukrainian roads, Czechoslovak, German and Polish.
Unit commanders and colleagues — all who fought hand in hand with Mikhail — all talked about how brave and courageous this man was in battle.
Despite the difficult and terrible time, Michael wrote poems during the war. The most famous works of Mikhail Lvov were the poems "To become a man - they are not enough to be born", "Letter", "Astrologer" and others.
Post-war activities
After the war ended, in 1950, Mikhail Lvov joined the ranks of the members of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union.
It was with the onset of a calm and peaceful time that Mikhail was finally able to engage in literature, because it was to her that the poet lay with his soul. First, Mikhail Lvov was engaged in translating the works of national poets of the Soviet Union. The most frequent works that the poet translated were poems by Kazakh classics, such as Maylin, Seyfullin, Sarsenbaev.
Mikhail Lvov himself spoke out on the account of poetry, saying that poetry is a guardian of great values, and everything that poets of the war and post-war times wrote about was all filled with tragedy and heroism.
