Furatsilin belongs to the pharmacological group of external antiseptics. The active substance of the drug is nitrofural.

Purulent otitis media (chronic form);
Pressure sores, ulcers;
Burns;
Conjunctivitis;

Purulent-inflammatory process in the pleural cavity and in the articular cavities.
Furatsilin. Contraindications, side effects
Contraindications for treatment with furatsilin include special sensitivity of the body to active nitrofural, renal failure and allergic dermatitis. During the period of treatment with the drug, in some cases, side effects are detected in the form of vomiting and nausea, in some patients appetite disappears and dizziness is observed. More tangible negative symptoms include dermatitis and pruritus. If at least one of these actions occurs, the drug should be discontinued before consulting a doctor.
Furatsilin. Reception methods
When prescribing the drug inside, it is taken after a meal, accompanied by a plentiful drink.
Most often, the medicine is prescribed for external use. This is due to its ability to actively inhibit the multiplication of various bacteria.
Microbes under the influence of the active substance of the drug disappear already on the 5-6th day. It is effectively used as a remedy for purulent diseases, in many cases it is considered an excellent prophylactic antibacterial medication. Therefore, it is important to know how to breed furatsilin for rinsing.
Furacilin with angina
Angina refers to diseases that require treatment with anti-inflammatory drugs that have a pronounced wound healing and antimicrobial effect. They are prescribed in complex treatment with other antibiotics, sulfonamides, antihistamines, painkillers.
Such agents include furatsilin. Gargling is used for all forms of the disease: catarrhal, ulcerative-film, follicular and lacunar tonsillitis. The solution is diluted immediately in two glasses:
1. In the first, it is necessary to dissolve hydroperite (1 tab.) In a glass of water or replace the product with 3% hydrogen peroxide (1 tbsp.).
2. In the second glass, dioxidine and furatsilin are diluted. Gargling should be done after dissolving the agent in a ratio of 1-2 ampoules per 0.5 tbsp. respectively.
As substitutes for these drugs, potassium permanganate, propolis, etericide, decamethoxin, chlorophyllipt, and many others are also used. All of them have anti-inflammatory, wound healing and analgesic effects.
Furacilin is often confused with an antiviral agent, which is absolutely wrong. This drug is an antiseptic, only various bacteria are sensitive to it, but not fungi and viruses. The period during which almost all pathogenic bacteria leave the body is usually 5-6 days. The effect of the drug on them is so strong that it is sometimes compared with streptocide.
Streptococci, salmonella, staphylococci - all of these bacteria die under the influence of the drug "Furacilin".
Gargling: basic techniques
There are two ways to treat a throat with a drug.
The first. First, take a sip of the solution from one glass and rinse while pronouncing the letter "E" or "O", after which the liquid is spit out. Then follows a second sip, but from the second glass. Rinsing is carried out in a similar way, and it is not recommended to hold the first sips for a long time in the oral cavity, but in subsequent portions of the solution the procedure is carried out for a longer time period. Gradually, pathogenic bacteria begin to die from exposure to the active substance contained in the drug "Furacilin".
Gargling, method two. It provides a deeper treatment of the throat. The tonsils, the root of the tongue and the posterior pharyngeal walls are rinsed. The procedure is carried out by a similar alternation of sips from both glasses. But, having collected the liquid in the mouth, the head must be thrown back and treated for a long time, trying to pronounce the syllable "GLU". Up to 5-6 rinses are carried out per day with a break of 2-3 hours.
