For 4 servings you will need 5-6 potatoes, 1 piece of carrots and onions and a couple of tablespoons of vegetable oil. Spices, herbs and salt are added to taste. Wash and peel all vegetables. Cut onions, carrots and potatoes into cubes and put in a slow cooker. Add your favorite spices, salt. Mix everything and select the "Extinguishing" mode. After 1 hour, the stewed cartel will be ready. If desired, you can add meat or mushrooms to it. In any case, it turns out delicious, and the potatoes are cooked in their own juice.

But frying potatoes in a slow cooker does not work for everyone. Of course, if there is such a mode by default, it is better to use it. And if not, then you can cook fried potatoes in the "Baking" or "Pilaf" modes. In both cases, to get a crispy crust or frying, it is important to put a little potato - not more than 5-6 pcs., And also pour a little vegetable oil and add salt and pepper to taste. In addition, at the same time as frying potatoes in a bowl, you can steamed cutlets, meat or fish.
