In our life, there are times when in the arsenal of the hostess there is no such important tool as the oven. A trip to the campsite, repairs and living in a hostel can make it impossible to cook what you want. And sometimes there is no desire to bother with a baking sheet and raise the temperature in the apartment. Some home craftsmen recommend preparing a cake in a pan.
It is very simple and does not take much time. If you decide to make a cake in a pan, then the recipe can be any, but the principle is always the same:
β’ The dough for crusts is kneaded and divided into several parts (sometimes the dough can be liquid and poured into a frying pan, as for pancakes).
β’ In a hot pan, each cake is fried on both sides and cooled. With a sharp knife, align the edges of the cakes.
β’ The cream is prepared in advance and spread on cakes.
β’ The cake is decorated with chocolate icing or grated chocolate, nuts and coconut, grated waffle or crumbled crumbs, or whatever you like.

Recipe:
β’ In a water bath, mix and beat eggs (2-3 pcs.), Sugar (a glass), butter (100 g) and honey (about 100 g).
β’ Introduce a teaspoon of soda topped with vinegar.
β’ Pour in approximately 3 cups of wheat flour and mix thoroughly.
β’ The mass will turn golden in 7-8 minutes and you can put it on the table to mix with the remaining flour (1.5 cups). Knead until it stops sticking to your hands.
β’ On a table sprinkled with flour, roll thin cakes (depending on the thickness, 6 to 10 layers should be obtained). To make all the cakes of the same diameter, use a plate that is suitable in size for your pan.
β’ Spread cakes on a hot frying pan, leveling with your fingers so that the cakes do not βrun awayβ. Fry the cakes.
β’ Lubricate still warm cakes with liquid drinking cream and leave under a towel so that they soak and become soft.
β’ To make a cream that fits best into a cake in a pan, select the recipe yourself from two options. The first option: sour cream - beat 600 g of thick sour cream with 200 g of sugar. The second option: cream with condensed milk - combine one can of condensed milk with a pack of butter (250 g).
β’ Cream each cake and collect the cake.
β’ Decorate it and refrigerate it overnight.
Curd cake in a pan - very tasty
β’ First, make a cream. Grind the egg with sugar (a glass).
β’ Add flour (3 tablespoons), vanillin and mix thoroughly.
β’ Pour in milk (500 ml) and put the mass on low heat to thicken. Do not forget to stir.
β’ After thickening the cream, remove it from the stove and cool.
β’ Put pieces of soft butter (200 g) into the cooled mass and beat.
β’ Cooking the dough. To make a delicious cake in a pan, the recipe must be strictly maintained. Cottage cheese (200 g) is combined with one egg and sugar (a glass), vanilla and a teaspoon of soda (quenched).
β’ Gradually add flour (300 g) and knead a thick, but not too cool curd dough.
β’ We divide the dough into parts (7-9 cakes) and roll it thinly on the table.
β’ In a hot pan, bake each cake from two sides, piercing with a fork so that it does not swell.
β’ After the cakes have cooled, grease them with cream (if the edges of the cakes are not even, you can trim them).
β’ Cooking chocolate icing. We mix cocoa powder, sugar and sour cream (or milk) and put on a fire to cook. Stir constantly and cook for a couple of minutes. When the icing has cooled, put a piece of butter in it (this is necessary to make the icing glisten) and pour the curd cake on it.
β’ Sprinkle the cake with nuts, candied fruits or grated waffles.
For a curd cake, boiled condensed milk may well be suitable as a cream.
