Drugs "Movalis" and "Milgamma": indications and treatment regimen

For back pain, patients are often prescribed non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. As part of the therapy, therapeutic complexes with B vitamins are also used, which contribute to the improvement of the state of the nervous tissue and metabolism. Doctors often prescribe a joint administration of two drugs - Movalis and Milgamma. With the simultaneous administration, these drugs quickly stop the pain syndrome.

Description of drugs

"Movalis" refers to a new generation of nonsteroidal drugs. Its active ingredient, meloxicam, inhibits the formation of prostaglandins, and thereby helps to reduce inflammation. In addition, it does not adversely affect bone cartilage, which allows the use of this tool for degenerative changes in the spine.

The drug "Milgamma"

Milgamma is a multivitamin complex. It contains B vitamins and anesthetic - lidocaine. The drug has a pronounced analgesic effect, and also improves blood circulation and carbohydrate metabolism.

Both drugs are produced in ampoules, they are intended for intramuscular injections. "Movalis" and "Milgamma" complement and reinforce each other's action. As a result, the analgesic effect becomes more pronounced. Even a short course of injections is enough to stop the pain syndrome.

Indications and contraindications

The combination of Movalis and Milgamma drugs is most often prescribed for osteochondrosis. Injections help relieve pain in other diseases of the spine and joints: rheumatoid arthritis and spondylitis. Also, drugs are effective in diseases of the peripheral nerves: radiculitis and trigeminal neuralgia.

Back pain

The use of this combination of drugs is strictly contraindicated for allergies to lidocaine and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.

Treatment regimen

Can Milgamma and Movalis be administered at the same time? Injections of these drugs are done on the same day, but solutions of different medicines cannot be mixed in the same syringe. At least 3-4 hours should elapse between the injections of the two drugs, otherwise the risk of allergies is high. Also, "Movalis" can not be administered intravenously. Doctors prescribe a three-day course of treatment with injections of Movalis and Milgamma. Each medicine is injected once a day. Subsequently, patients are transferred to tablet formulations. In some cases, “Movalis”, “Milgamm” and “Midokalm” are prescribed simultaneously. Consider the therapeutic effect of this combination of drugs.

Muscle relaxant "Midokalm"

"Midokalm" is a muscle relaxant. It helps to reduce muscle tone and has an analgesic effect. This helps to achieve a quick relief of pain. In addition, muscle relaxant relieves stiffness and muscle tension in osteochondrosis. "Midokalm" is administered intramuscularly twice a day. After stopping the pain syndrome, the patient is transferred to the oral administration of the drug.

Patient reviews indicate that this combination of drugs is quite effective. In many patients, discomfort in the spine disappeared after the first injection of drugs. Most patients note that such complex therapy quickly eliminates pain and contributes to the normalization of movements in diseased joints.
