Valery Todorovsky was born on May 8, 1962 in Odessa. His father at that time worked as a cameraman at a film studio, and his mother developed her talent as a producer. He especially liked to watch his father work.
“My father is not a supporter of strict rules of education. I had a lot of free time and I am happy that I had a wonderful childhood, which I spent in such a beautiful city like Odessa. On an equal footing with Livnev and Tolstunov, he created his own TTL film studio. He, as a director, begins to work on the films "Hearse", "Love Evenings", "Moscow Nights", which bring him fame and recognition.
