A rich widower Adnan with two children, living in a luxurious mansion in the center of Istanbul, after 11 years of loneliness, falls in love with a young and beautiful Bichter and makes her an offer. The girl accepts him, but her motives are not known to anyone. Does she love Adnan, marry by calculation, or does it in spite of her mother, who has her own plans for Adnan?
Nevertheless, having agreed, she finds herself in the very center of passions and intrigues raging in a mansion between children, servants, her relatives and herself. Everything is complicated by the presence of a young and sexy nephew of Adnan, whose feelings at Beechter flare up more every day. Whether Bichter will be able to save his marriage amid a flaming passion for Behlül remains a mystery until the very end of the series.

Process of creation
The series “Forbidden Love” was shot based on the novel of the same name by a famous Turkish writer named Khalid Ziya Isakligil. Screenwriters Melek Gencoglu and Eige Jorench adapted the plot of the book for the series, and the directors Mesude Erarslan and Hilal Saral took up its implementation.
A careful selection of actors, which began at the stage of creating the script, lasted 2 months. As a result, all the selected actors, both beginners and professionals, fully met their expectations.
The shooting took place in Istanbul, in a mansion owned by Sheikh Osman Bey. The owner of the mansion lives in Saudi Arabia. After the filming of the series was completed, the mansion became a place of constant pilgrimage for tourists, and prices on the adjacent street increased significantly.
Fans of the series hope to continue filming, especially since the plot of 79 series for two seasons has not come to its logical conclusion and leaves room for imagination. However, Turkish producers are in no hurry to shoot the continuation of the series.

The series itself, despite its popularity, did not collect any special awards. But the actors who performed the main and secondary roles showed their talent 100%. Already after the release and success of the series, in 2015, the Russian series "Forbidden Love" was released in Russia.
