Not every person can dare to show their outstanding talents in front of thousands of people. But not everyone can appreciate the gift given to man. In this regard, tons of negativity and insulting comments pour on the brave man, and he, unable to withstand the attacks of people, is forced to flee, covering his face from shame. But not everyone at home will be reassured, sometimes the closest people finish off the poor fellow. This happened with the participant of the TV project "Minute of Glory" Alexander Malyutin. Not waiting for his moment of glory, this elderly man could not stand the criticism, pouring in from all sides, even from his own sister.
Love for music
Malyutin Alexander was from Altai village. This beautiful resort destination, chosen by tourists, is famous for its juicy grapes and apricots. It was in one of the cozy houses of the colorful village that Alexander Malyutin lived with his second wife Nina Panarina. He was a famous man in his area, because already in 1965 his name appeared on the pages of newspapers. They wrote about how the guy is successfully studying in secondary and music schools. It is worth noting that in the second he traveled for a long time from his village on a bus going to the district center.
Alexander Malyutin, whose biography is described in this article, loved music to the point of madness. He was ready to spend hours learning new tools, forgetting about fun in the yard with friends, about homework and dinner. He dreamed of glory and went to her for many years.
Self-taught professional
The musician Alexander Malyutin was a real virtuoso, he could not live a day without music. He mastered all the instruments he played on his own, and delighted his fellow villagers by playing the piano, balalaika, accordion and guitar. But not only his hands were adapted to music, his instruments easily succumbed to his toes.
Alexander Malyutin, whose personal life was very successful, for some time was a member of the Siberian Choir, together with his first wife Lyudmila taught at the music school in the city of Kemerovo. The family had two sons, for whom once a musician went to the shooting of a television show. He wanted to show his grown-up children that he did not become lost after leaving his family, was able to achieve great success in the world of music. But all this was later, much later, before the television project, many other adventures awaited him.
New record
Leaving his wife Lyudmila, Alexander got a job as a teacher at the children's art school. After some time, his professional path went to kindergarten, in which he also worked as a music teacher. But Malyutin dreamed of a completely different, not such a life he wanted. Alexander for several years dreamed of getting to the pages of the Guinness Book of Records, which he learned about by accident when he saw her from his grand-nephew.
For a long time, the musician pondered what number to put in order to be honored, and came up with.
In 1999, Alexander arranged a small test for himself, which he recorded on videotape. For four hours he stood on his head, while masterfully performing musical pieces on the button accordion. After that, he decided to prepare better - to make a real performance out of a simple playing on musical instruments. Thus, on the eve of Epiphany 2000, he arranged a concert, which was to take pride of place on the pages of the treasured book.
During the day, Alexander Malyutin continuously played the accordion, piano, guitar and balalaika, performing more than three hundred musical plays during this time. The action was recorded on many cameras so that the commission did not find any errors or quackery in the room.
Video for memory
After a successful recording, the tapes were sent by the Altai Guinness Force Altai representative office to the Russian representative office of the great book. But no one looked at the recordings anymore, as it turned out that our mission had not paid the British an annual contribution to participate in the amount of one hundred eighty thousand dollars. Since then, the Book of Records has remained a cherished and unrealizable dream for many residents of Russia. Of course, no one warned future participants that while we were not participating anywhere, and talented people continued to record their records. Only they remained with them as a memory, recorded on many meters of videotape.
Lefty
Alexander Malyutin from the village of Altayskoye could not be called a man of timid ten. He did not become very upset that he could not get to the pages of the Guinness Book. The musician heard about the Russian book of records under the name "Lefty" and decided that he would definitely get there.
Having prepared the program, in 2004 Alexander Malyutin hastened to show everyone that even inverted instruments can be played perfectly. And he was able to conquer the jury, becoming one of the winners. According to the terms of the competition, the finalists had to go on tour with their program in the cities of Russia. Alexander, who had sought recognition for so long, was crazy about happiness; he was looking forward to his first tour.
But even in “Lefty” he was not destined to capture his outstanding talent. The first city to be visited by the record holders of Russia was Moscow. The concert was canceled, as terrorists from Chechnya besieged the Beslan school on the first September day, and the first day of Alexander’s tour. The whole festival was postponed indefinitely.
Alexander Malyutin: “Minute of Glory”
In 2007, the musician got a new idea. He wanted to take part in the talent show that started on the first television channel. Alexander Malyutin told his wife about his desire. The “Minute of Glory" for the 56-year-old man was the last chance to prove to himself that he had lived his life not in vain, and that his talent would be accepted, remembered. Of course, Nina Panarina was supported by her husband, who was so eager to show people her art.
Viktor Korshunov, the head of the district where the musician lived, also supported his fellow countryman, and even allocated money from the budget for the trip of Alexander to Moscow. He told Malyutin that the whole country would observe him, and his native region, like no one else, would root for his musician.
The last battle
Countrymen and former colleagues of Alexander recall how proud their musician was when he went to Moscow. He just wanted to live, show his talent to all the people of Russia, tour, take part in concerts. Alexander believed that in the capital he would certainly be noticed, and that life that he had dreamed about from his early childhood would begin.
At the show, Alexander Malyutin performed “Turkish Rondo” (Mozart), turning away from the piano, and then “Dog Waltz” with his toes. The first to press the red button was Tatyana Tolstaya, saying that the musician is disgustingly playing, and indeed, in a decent society he has bare his legs! She was supported by both Maslyakov and Galtsev. They also expressed themselves rudely, saying that the musician is most likely not adequate. So the “Minute of Glory” became for the musician “Eternity of Shame”.
"Requiem" by Mozart
Of course, Alexander Malyutin understood that this was just a television show, but nevertheless, the words of the jury crippled him. He walked quietly for a week, barely talked, completely abandoned his “Music Box” - this is what the family called the room in which the musician had all the instruments. Nina Panarina says that there was always a mess: scattered notes, uncleared instruments. Arriving from the show, Alexander neatly tidied everything up, put the notes in the closet, instruments in the covers, and did not play them at all. At the request of his wife to play something on the piano, Alexander played Requiem.
In the future, he was not accepted to his former place of work - to a kindergarten, and he was forced to get into another, but not a music teacher, but a loader and a janitor.
Last birthday
September 10, Alexander turned 57 years old, noted in a close family circle. Literally at the same time, Malyutin received a letter from his own sister. She wrote that her brother was disgraced all over the country, and that she herself was disgusted to watch the gray-haired old man "kick" his musical instrument. Perhaps the words of the soulmate were the last argument in favor of death.
Alexander Malyutin hanged himself in his old house, built by his father in the village of Sarasu, where he went on September 15, five days after the celebration of the 57th anniversary.
The worst thing is that the jury who literally killed the musician did not express regret to his family. They said they were not obliged to blame themselves for what had happened. The elderly man was regretted only on the Internet in numerous comments. And the show continues! They still humiliate and insult the participants.
