Oven baked potato cooked in foil

We check readiness with a fork by unfolding the foil. You can eat such potatoes directly with the skin, adding salt or any sauce as necessary.

If only old potatoes are available, then you can use the following simple recipe. Wash the potatoes with a brush, dry with a paper towel. Rub with salt and vegetable oil, wrap in foil, as described above and bake. Such a potato, baked in foil, will be ready in about an hour. The potato will turn out fragrant with a crispy crust.

If you only have large root vegetables, you can also cook a potato dish in foil. The recipe is not much different from the previous one, only the potatoes need to be peeled and boiled for ten minutes at a low boil. Then dry, sprinkle with spices, grease with oil and bake in foil in a preheated oven to two hundred degrees.

And you can cook potatoes with filling. To do this, cut each tuber in half and put between the halves a piece of bacon, salted lard, cheese (whoever likes it). Add potatoes on top. Wrap in foil and bake.

A very sophisticated version of the dish is baked stuffed potatoes. You can cook it in different ways. For example, you can boil potatoes β€œin their uniforms”, and after cooling, peel, cut in half and remove the pulp from the middle with a teaspoon. Stuff the resulting "boats" with minced meat and bake, pouring sauce and sprinkling with cheese.

You can make preparations for stuffing from raw potatoes, using a special knife. And you can first bake the potatoes in foil, as mentioned above, and after cooling it, make blanks from it, as well as boiled potatoes.

You can choose any stuffing for stuffing, potatoes go well to taste with meat, mushrooms, vegetables. You can stuff potatoes with fish - boiled or salted, or even cottage cheese, mixing it with sour cream or mayonnaise, salt and chopped garlic. You can serve baked potatoes with any sauce, garnished with fresh vegetables.
