Quick kefir pies can be cooked in just 80 minutes. Filling for such a dish can serve as fried cabbage, and mashed potatoes, and mushrooms, and other ingredients. Today we will consider the first option, which includes white cabbage and hard-boiled eggs.

Components for the filling and base:

  • refined sunflower oil - for frying toppings and flour products;
  • medium chicken eggs - 3 pcs.;
  • thick kefir 3.2% - 200 ml;
  • white wheat flour - 400-500 g;
  • hard cheese - 250 g;
  • table soda - ½ dessert spoon;
  • fresh cabbage - ½ medium fork;
  • white onion - 3 pcs.;
  • small carrots - 2 pcs.;
  • granulated sugar - 1.5 small tablespoons;
  • table salt - use at discretion.

Quick kefir pies should be made from a simple yeast-free dough. To knead such a base, you need to slightly heat the thick kefir, and then extinguish table soda in it, pour in table salt and granulated sugar. After all of these components have dissolved, you need to add grated hard cheese and wheat flour to them. As a result, you should have a fairly tight dough extending from the hands.

Cooking toppings

As mentioned above, quick kefir pies can be prepared entirely from different ingredients. We decided to use fried cabbage. To prepare such a filling, it is necessary to peel and chop the following vegetables: white cabbage, white onions and carrots. Next, the ingredients must be placed in a saucepan, pour oil and drinking water to them, pour in salt and simmer until the products are completely soft (within half an hour). After the vegetables lose all moisture, they should be slightly fried. It is also necessary to add hard-boiled eggs to such a filling, which are recommended to be grated beforehand.

Semi-finished products

Quick kefir pies are formed very easily and simply. To do this, you need to take a piece of dough, roll a circle out of it, and then place 1 or 2 large spoons of the filling in the middle. Further, the edges of the base should be strongly jammed. By analogy, all other semi-finished products are also prepared.

Oil must be poured into the dishes (so that it covers the surface by 2 centimeters), and then 5-6 semi-finished foods are laid out alternately. After the pies are fried in a pan on both sides, they should be pried with a fork and placed on a deep plate.

Kefir-based flour products stuffed with cabbage and eggs should be served hot for dinner. It is also recommended to bring spicy tomato sauce and hot sweet tea to such a hearty meal.
