And after that you carry all the money won in your hands through a long and dark lane, but a gang of scumbags armed to the teeth does not even pay attention to it. Could this be?
Well, well, if the first two events are purely theoretical and possible, then the third option is even hard to imagine. To do this, you must either be a close relative of Lady Luck herself, or pathologically lucky, like the character of the drawn stories - Domino (Marvel). A photo of the character can be viewed below.
Nina
On one of Chicago's cold winters, an unknown woman gave birth to a girl, Nina. During the birth, something went wrong, and the mother passed away, and the baby ended up in the local Sacred Heart shelter. She lived there for several years until her abilities were activated.
Shelter priest had a hard time, because Nina was not the calmest child. She was too smart, which in itself was not bad, but very talkative and completely uncontrollable. This was probably what prevented her from finally finding a real home.
But Nina studied well both in elementary school and in high school. Even a higher education was given to her easily. In principle, she had no choice, because without a scholarship, the girl could not have paid for the textbooks. After several semesters of study, she decided to get a degree in computer engineering. It was this specialty that Nina considered the most important for herself. And she did not fail.
Her skills over time began to bring good income. She managed well with hacks of varying complexity and could bypass almost any security protocol. In fact, she no longer needed a scholarship, because the illegal way to earn money quietly covered all her expenses. Of course, she had the necessary knowledge, but somehow everything turned out too cleverly. Then Nina wondered: is she an ordinary person?
But how was it really?
In fact, the appearance of Nina, the US government has planned for a long time. She and several other children were born under the auspices of a program called Armageddon. Within the framework of this project, they wanted to create the perfect weapon from the experimental ones. Born children for some time did not touch. They waited for their abilities to begin to manifest. Well, they waited.
Nina attracted the attention of law enforcement agencies when she began to use her skills for illegal purposes. They had wanted to close the fraud for a long time, but “Armageddon” was headed by very influential people, and they had their own plans for the girl.
One day, Nina received a strange letter suggesting a meeting. At first, she decided that it was a trap that threatened her with prison. Only curiosity turned out to be stronger than fear, and she came to the indicated place. Imagine her surprise when the meeting turned out to be real. Moreover, she was offered a job at a secret agency, to which she agreed.
First job
Nina’s career at the agency quickly went uphill, she showed excellent results and very soon they began to be entrusted with difficult tasks. Now she has become not only a highly skilled specialist in the field of information technology, but also an excellent operative. Working there, she was able to improve her skills and learn how to use them more competently. In general, she earned herself a task, during which she was able to be at least a little happy.
Her next mission was not quite ordinary. Nina was instructed to protect Milo Thurman, who has the gift of clairvoyance. They worked together long enough and managed to get so close that a romantic relationship arose between them that led to the wedding. And this Milo began to call her Domino.
New team
But all good things come to an end, and their happy marriage was no exception. This happened during an attack by the PMI organization. To prevent Milo Thurman from getting there, he was hidden in one of the government bunkers. There was no place for Domino (Marvel), and since the attack was sudden, lightning fast and too powerful, everyone decided that the girl was killed.
But, as it turned out, it’s easier to break a brick wall with a paper mallet than to destroy such a lucky target. Therefore, Nina Thurman survived, but for some reason she was not in a hurry to return to her husband. Domino (Marvel) met a mutant named Cable, who invited her as a mercenary to the next team.
True, she did not stay there long either, as she was abducted by the arms dealer Tolliver. It is good that she had a good relationship with Cable at that time, so the mutant took the trouble to find and save her friend. Later, they created a new Power-X group, in which Cable became the leader.
Milo again
But the last meeting with her husband for Domino (Marvel) was not the last. Milo Thurman was in trouble again when the evil genius of cybernetics - Donald Pearce, with the support of his gang of half-cyborgs Reavers, tried to steal his gift of clairvoyance by transferring consciousness. Dominoes easily defeated them, but did not dare to stop the transfer of consciousness, as this could lead to disastrous consequences. By the way, there was no more information about her husband.
"Third view"
Despite the loss of her husband, one girl did not stay, because she had useful skills that were interesting, say, to Professor Xavier. According to his plan, she was to monitor the observance of the rights of mutants around the world. And this position was not as safe as it seemed at first glance.
To complete the first mission, Domino (Marvel Comics describe in detail the adventures of the girl) and her partner Risk went to Hong Kong. There they went on the trail of the organization "Third View", whose leader worked to create the perfect person. For a partner, it all ended sadly: The risk was lost, and Domino contacted the X-Men, and together they ended the organization. But that’s not the point, she would have managed alone, as was the case in many other missions — luck followed luck.
And so constantly - she succeeds and gets away with everything, she has never been in serious danger, and yet the girl does not have tremendous strength, immortality, a smart suit or a magic hammer. Her feature is different.
Ability
A feature of Domino (Marvel talks about this) is that it is able to influence the probability of the occurrence of certain events. Moreover, the limit of her ability is unknown. In some cases, it works automatically, but if a girl comes under heavy fire, she will have to concentrate well so as not to become a sieve.
An original ability, a controversial character, a frequent change of mood and a great love for profanity - all this creates the image of an interesting character. Therefore, it is not clear why the film about Domino (Marvel) has still not been shot. Although, given the fact that Cable should appear in the Deadpool 2 picture, it is quite possible that his girlfriend might be there.
