Modern choreography includes one radically new direction, called "contact improvisation." It is a mixture of theatrical stage movement and smooth dance. Its essence lies in the fact that for the time of improvisation, partners focus on each other, becoming one and responding to each impulse. As a result, numbers are extraordinary in their beauty. But here psychology is more important than choreography. This direction is based on full mutual trust between partners, and technology is already playing a secondary role.
One can say that one of the most complex and multifaceted forms of art is choreography. Teaching her can take a person's whole life and requires him to harmoniously combine aesthetic, artistic and sports skills. Modern choreography is complicated by the fact that it continues to develop daily, and dancers have to constantly monitor updated trends and create something new. But this also has its advantages in the form of freedom from canons that have developed over the years.
