Gallstone disease or cholecystitis, symptoms

It is known that the gall bladder is the storage site of bile, which is secreted by the liver and which is necessary for the normal development of the human body. In the case of metabolic disorders or malformations of the biliary tract, its composition changes, which leads to the formation of stones in the bladder, and in frequent cases an inflammatory process occurs. This phenomenon in medicine is called cholecystitis, the symptoms of which are manifested brightly. This disease is most often observed in women with large weight, over the age of forty years.

The disease can occur with the formation of stones, while they talk about a disease such as calculous cholecystitis, the symptoms of which are very pronounced, and without the formation of stones, which is called non-calculous cholecystitis.

Inflammation of the gallbladder happens:

1.Infectious. Bacterial or viral inflammation develops due to the penetration into the gall bladder of staphylococci, hepatitis virus, intestinal, dysenteric or typhoid bacillus from the intestine through the bile ducts.

2. Non-infectious. It arises as a result of the appearance of parasites, allergies and when gastric juice enters the gallbladder, as well as with liver injuries.

Pathogenic microbes can enter the gallbladder through the blood and lymph, so cholecystitis affects people with diseases of the intestine, genitourinary system and other organs that are prone to inflammation.

The reasons for the development of a disease such as cholecystitis, the symptoms of which can be different, can be: an improper diet, frequent nervous tension, pancreatitis, obesity, hepatitis, gastritis, also immune system disorders, chronic infectious diseases, pregnancy, a genetic factor and an age of more than fifty years .

So, the main symptoms of cholecystitis are: pain in the right hypochondrium, vomiting and nausea, general weakness of the body, increased body temperature, yellow tint of the skin.

Both acute and chronic cholecystitis are considered, and depending on which form of the disease develops, its corresponding symptoms appear.

In the acute form of the disease, hepatic colic occurs , sharp sharp pains. When chronic cholecystitis develops, symptoms appear in the form of nausea, dull pain in the hypochondrium on the right side, upset stomach, fatigue and irritability. When chronic urolithiasis worsens , the symptoms appear are the same as in its acute form. It should be borne in mind that chronic cholecystitis develops against the background of other diseases, for example, pathologies of the bile ducts or dyscholy.

Thus, the first sign of the development of the disease is aching pain in the abdomen, which after eating or exercise becomes acute, and subsides within a few hours. Symptoms of poisoning may be present, blood pressure decreases, an increase in liver size and heart murmur are observed. If cholecystitis, whose symptoms are pronounced, is not treated, peritonitis may develop.

Treatment of urolithiasis depends on the form of its course. In the acute form, emergency hospitalization is required, conservative treatment with the use of antibacterial agents is used here. The main point is the elimination of pain and inflammation. In emergency cases, surgery is performed, as the disease can cause the development of gangrene or perforation of the gallbladder.

With an exacerbation of a chronic disease, it is recommended to follow certain diets and use herbal remedies for treatment.

Thus, the treatment of cholecystitis is aimed at eliminating pain, inflammation and poisoning of the body. Therapeutic measures can be both surgical and conservative, depending on the severity of the disease.
