This cooking method, like stewing, is the most optimal for people who, for whatever reason, are forced to eat diet. That is, of course, spices, various ingredients are added in the process. However, for example, the stew will not be as greasy as fried or even baked. Most often, a broth or sauce is used in the preparation of such a dish.

Many housewives are interested in the question of how to stew meat so that it turns out tasty, juicy and aromatic. In fact, there is nothing complicated about this. The process of preparing such dishes takes up to one and a half hours, depending on the recipe. Those who are interested in stewing meat usually use a spatula, neck or thigh. It’s advisable to buy both pork and beef or chicken. If you don’t know how to stew meat deliciously, remember: the main thing is to close the lid of the pan and cook it at low temperatures, that is, over low heat.

Here is one of the recipes that will help you figure out how to stew meat, in more detail. Take 800 grams of pork, a tablespoon of flour, 200 milliliters of milk, one onion, a tablespoon of soy sauce, pepper, salt and vegetable oil. The meat is cut into small pieces, then crumbled in flour, which is pre-mixed with all kinds of spices. Now pour enough vegetable oil into the pan and send the meat there. It must be fried until golden brown. Then salt the meat. Onions must be cut in half rings and fry until golden with pork. You should also make the sauce: mix milk, soy sauce, salt and spices. After the meat has acquired a rosy appearance, you can fill it with sauce and simmer for about one hour (always under a closed lid).

How to stew meat in a pan, we figured out. But what if you use an oven? Take a pound of pork, one onion, two carrots, 10 potatoes, and then to taste: salt, pepper, marjoram, mustard, paprika. The meat should be washed, dried, cut into pieces. With onions to make the same manipulations, only it needs to be issued in half rings. The carrots are grated, and the potatoes are cut in circles. Heat a little vegetable oil in a pan, put onions, carrots and add a little mustard. Onions should acquire some goldenness. Take a leg of lamb (weighing about one and a half kilograms), 380 milliliters of red wine, one large onion, 800 grams of canned tomatoes, 5 cloves of garlic, one chili pepper, salt and marjoram. The meat must be fried on both sides until a characteristic crust appears. You will have enough 12-15 minutes. Then shift the lamb leg on a plate. Sliced ​​onions, garlic and chili peppers in a pan for about 5 minutes. Then there you can shift the meat, pour red wine and add canned tomatoes, previously chopped. All this must be seasoned with marjoram, salt, pepper and simmer under a tightly closed lid for at least two hours. The dish should also be infused. Serve the stew with vegetables or another side dish. You might want to cook frizzy rice or make creamy mashed potatoes. However, buckwheat or pasta will also be a great addition to stew, especially if gravy is served with it.
