How sometimes you want to pamper your loved ones with something not quite ordinary and tasty! But what if you cook puff pastry roll? You can make it sweet, you can make it meat or fish. It all depends on the hostess's imagination and the availability of food in the refrigerator. And what recipes for making rolls can you try to implement?
Before preparing the roll from puff pastry, you need to decide on the dough. It will be purchased or homemade. If the second option is chosen, then you can prepare puff pastry according to the following recipe:
In half a glass of water, dissolve half a small spoonful of sugar and a whole small spoonful of salt. Pour the contents into a bowl, add two cups of flour to the water. Knead the dough.
Melt half a packet of butter.
Now divide the dough into two approximately identical parts. Pour flour on the table, put one part of the dough and roll it with a rolling pin, giving the layer an oval shape. Try to make the dough as thin as possible, grease it with prepared melted butter. Now put the rolling pin on the edge of the formation and roll the dough around it, like a roll. Try to do it more tightly. This will result in a rolling pin wrapped in dough. Cut the dough along the rolling pin. Get square layers lying on top of each other. With the second piece of dough, do the same. As a result, put all the resulting squares in a stack, put them in a plastic bag and send them to the refrigerator for an hour.
Puff pastry with chicken
It will take 0.5 kilograms of puff pastry. Divide it into three parts, roll them into a rectangular shape.
Filling. Chop the onion and fry in vegetable oil. In a separate bowl, chop 200 grams of already boiled chicken, 50 grams of grated cheese, a couple of cloves of garlic, a little parsley and dill. Add a spoonful of mayonnaise, salt, pepper and mix the ingredients of the filling.
Distribute the filling into the layers of dough, moisten the edges with water and roll the roll. Grease each roll of puff pastry with mayonnaise and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Put on a baking sheet with the seam down and bake for 25 minutes.
Sweet puff pastry roll
Roll a pound of puff pastry a little.
Filling. Cut one apple, a couple of bananas, three peaches, with a dozen berries of sweet cherry into small cubes. Mix everything, do not need to refuel anything. Now put the filling in the middle of the test. Do not turn into roll, just wrap first on one side, then on the other. Close up the edges tightly so that during the baking process the roll does not turn around, and the juice from the fruit does not leak.
Put the roll on a baking sheet, grease it with a beaten egg and put it in a preheated oven for 20 minutes.
Puff pastry roll "Autumn"
Roll a pound of puff pastry a little to make the layer square.
Heat the pan with any oil, put the chopped onion and two chopped tomatoes in it (remove the skin beforehand). Add salt, seasoning. Stew until the sauce state. After allowing to cool slightly and grease the rolled dough with this mixture, not reaching the edges a little.
Now fry 400 grams of any fresh mushrooms, you can use frozen champignons. Salt, add a little pepper. Put mushrooms on the sauce. Cut very finely several cloves of garlic and sprinkle the mushrooms already laid on the dough.
In 300 grams of minced meat add spices, break the egg and mix. Put the minced meat on the mushrooms. Sprinkle 150 grams of grated hard cheese on top.
Carefully wrap the roll, securing the edges so that they do not unwind. Put on a baking sheet, grease with beaten egg on top and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Now you can send the meatloaf to bake in the oven for about 40 minutes. Ready-made roll can be served both cold and hot.
