People like to tickle their nerves, which is why horror films, psychological thrillers and disaster films are shot. A separate category of films are films with scenes of violence and cruelty. Many of them leave a heavy impression and can shock an unprepared or nervous spectator.
“Cargo 200”
The domestic drama of Alexei Balabanov depicts the end of the Soviet era and the brutal realities of a provincial city of that time. A few days after the premiere in 2007, in many cinemas, the film stopped showing. Viewers and film critics called the film vile and scandalous. Indeed, there are many shocking scenes in the motion picture script, and the gloomy atmosphere only adds realism. "Designer red"
The pseudo-documentary picture of the Russian director Andrei I is based on the novel “Magic Mountain”. In the first part of the film, under a female voice reading chapters from "Magic Mountain", a video sequence in red tones is demonstrated. This is an artistic interpretation of the story of a deceased soldier and his thoughts. The second part of the project is assembled from frames about the Soviet Siamese twins, surgical operations and clippings from medical films. Everyone who happened to see this non-standard picture noted an oppressive feeling and not leaving a sticky fear throughout the film.
