We should be grateful to the ancient Arabs who helped the world to know and appreciate the virtues of coffee. There are many legends about the drink, scientists argue about its benefits and harms. Coffee is used as an additive in food and medicine. A cup of aromatic drink is a great opportunity to rest and relax. There are so many modern coffee recipes that counting them is quite difficult. But we will focus on coffee glass.
The most common ways to make it are with ice cream, liquor, and egg yolk.
A coffee drink with liquor and the addition of ice can be made from both natural (ground) and instant coffee. It is enough to boil about 150 ml of a strong drink in any Turk and in the most usual way that we know: the most important thing is that it turns out to be as strong as possible. A glass (crystal) container with thick walls (glass, glass) should serve as a container for glasse coffee. Pour the finished liquid into the glass, add a few ice cubes, and pour the favorite liquor on top - any one will do. Most importantly, observe the proportion of coffee / liquor - alcohol should be no more than 20% of the total. Such a recipe with liquor and ice has not yet gained popularity in the CIS - they prefer this drink with cognac.
More popular is glasse coffee with egg yolk and ice cream. The recipe is simple, but the labor is more: you need to grind 2 yolks with 3 tablespoons of granulated sugar. The resulting mixture is added to 200 ml of the finished drink (gourmets prefer espresso). Coffee and egg yolks with sugar are placed in a water bath for 10-15 minutes and stirred the entire time the drink is prepared. When the miracle drink is brewed (natural - rises), it is poured into glasses (preferably high), and ice cream is placed on top. In the countries of the East, they add chocolate, vanilla or cinnamon - the taste is amazing. In Europe, they prefer it with vanilla ice cream, cinnamon and chocolate syrup.
And the most famous glasse we have - with ice cream and ice. This simplest and most affordable recipe was known to our grandmothers. As in the recipe with liquor, ordinary espresso is prepared, poured into a glass and a few ice cubes are added. Sundae or vanilla ice-cream are placed on top, and sprinkled with chocolate chips for beauty - you can drink and enjoy glasse coffee.
Today, various institutions serve a drink that has drawings and patterns on the surface, and transparent glasses demonstrate a βmultilayerβ drink. You may be served with spices - cinnamon, salt and pepper, they may be offered with lemon or grated orange zest. But there are recipes for a classic drink that has remained unchanged for centuries. For example, coffee, which bears the name of the Austrian capital.
We drink modern Viennese coffee almost every day, with one caveat - the dishes for this in our house or office are not always suitable for the Vienna version. The recipe is simple - you need to cook ground grains, pour into a tall glass and add a tablespoon of cream. Sugar is not put - it is served separately. The drink itself is consumed chilled.
You can add whipped cream - this makes it possible to apply patterns and drawings to the surface. In Vienna, from the 18th century, orange peel crumbs, cinnamon and nutmeg were sprinkled on top of whipped cream .
One of the options for the Vienna recipe involves the supply of whipped cream with chicory and powdered sugar. Another Austrian cream coffee recipe says that you need to melt the chocolate, mix it with cream and pour it in small portions into the drink. In this case, it is necessary to whip the contents to a foam, not allowing the chocolate to cool. When combined chocolate, cream and coffee, add whipped double cream and sugar, sprinkle with cinnamon and cocoa on top. Once this recipe was also called the imperial recipe.
In Vienna, a glass of cold water is sold for a drink - this is necessary to improve the taste buds.
