Medication "Charozette" describes the instructions as a progestogen for oral contraception. The composition of the medicine includes only desogestrel (progestogen). It was established that all contraceptive oral preparations, which include only progestogen (they are called "mini-drank" - "Exluton", "Charozetta", "Microlut" and others) are allowed for use during lactation. These funds are allowed to those patients for whom estrogen administration is not recommended or contraindicated.
After penetration, a rather rapid absorption of desogestrel occurs. The component passes into the active product etonogestrel, the maximum concentration of which is observed after 1.8 hours after administration.

After an abortion or childbirth, the medication should begin to be taken on the twenty-first or twenty-eighth day. During the first week, you should additionally use other contraceptives.
If a woman has had sexual intercourse after an abortion or childbirth before taking Charozet medication, it is necessary to exclude the fact of pregnancy or wait until the first menstruation begins.
Contraceptive effectiveness may decrease if there is a break of more than two and a half days between the two doses. In this case, you must use additional contraceptives.
If the interval between doses is less than twelve hours, a woman should drink a pill immediately as soon as she remembers it. Subsequent tablets should be taken as usual.
When taking Charozetta, side effects can be in the form of acne, weight gain, nausea, soreness in the mammary glands. In addition, the tool can provoke a headache, mood disorder, decreased libido, discomfort from contact lenses, urticaria.
Medication "Charozetta" instruction does not recommend for vaginal bleeding, the cause of which has not been established, progestogen-dependent tumors, hypersensitivity. The drug is not prescribed for the alleged or established pregnancy, the presence at present or in the medical history of indications of severe hepatic pathology, venous thromboembolism.
Prevention of ectopic pregnancy with traditional mini-pill drugs is less effective than combined contraceptives. When applying the first, cases of ovulation are recorded. At the same time, despite the rather high effectiveness of the Charozet remedy, in case of abdominal pain or amenorrhea, it is necessary to exclude the possibility of an ectopic pregnancy in the course of differential diagnosis.
