Cooking omelet in the microwave

Omelet is an easy-to-cook dish that is often prepared for breakfast, as it is healthy, tasty and does not require much cooking time. But with the classic way of cooking in a pan, an omelet is obtained with a crust, which not everyone loves. Therefore, many people like the omelet in the microwave, which can be prepared simply and quickly.

The main condition for successful cooking in this case is correctly selected dishes. So, for 1 egg you need to take a plate or a mold suitable for use in a microwave oven, the diameter of which is not less than 8 cm.

So how to make an omelet in the microwave? The recipe for cooking this dish in a microwave oven differs little from the traditional one. For 4 eggs, we need 5 tablespoons of milk, about 20 grams of butter, salt to taste. Melt the butter in a small bowl of a suitable diameter. Now we take another bowl, break the eggs there, beat them lightly, salt, pepper if desired, add milk. To do this, cut the onion and one pod of red bell pepper in small pieces, add a couple of tablespoons of olive oil to the vegetables and put in the oven, covering with a lid, for 4 minutes. In the meantime, peel 300 grams of potatoes and 150 grams of zucchini and three of these vegetables on a coarse grater. We transfer the grated vegetables to the dishes for pepper and onion, pour in the same 60 grams of canned corn or peas (you can take the mixture). And again we set at full power under the lid for 8 minutes. From time to time, vegetables should be mixed.

While the vegetable filling is stewed, beat 6 eggs with salt and pepper, add about 50 grams of grated cheese to them. Pour the prepared vegetables with egg mixture and cook without a lid, setting the average power, for 6 minutes. Then sprinkle with grated cheese on top (about 50 grams will be needed) and leave in the oven chamber for three minutes. Before serving, cut the omelet into portions and sprinkle with herbs.

On the basis of the recipe "Omelet in the microwave" you can cook a savory snack. To do this, mix a spoonful of flour with four tablespoons of milk so that the mass is without lumps. Then beat 4 eggs and add milk and flour to them. Do not forget to salt and put finely chopped greens into the mixture.
