A colorful dessert that is served not only for children, but also for adults, will be the decoration of any table. Multi-colored jelly, poured into bowls or glasses, cooled in tins or simply served in the form of a cake, is easily prepared at home. Consider a few ideas. They will inspire you to be creative. You can use purchased bags or apply the recipes presented in this article.
Jelly cake
A simple option, without spending a lot of time, to please the family. You can make, as in the photo, multi-colored jelly or add shades, increase the number of layers.
Ingredients:
- strawberry juice - 1 cup;
- cream - 1 cup;
- sugar - 1 cup;
- water - 1.5 cups;
- gelatin - 75 g.
Getting down. In three glasses with 50 ml of room temperature water, dilute 25 g of gelatin.
We put the syrup on the fire, which we subsequently color blue (you can replace the store bag with this shade and follow the instructions on the package). Pour 100 grams of sugar into a container with a liquid (an incomplete glass of water) and boil, add a drop of food coloring. Having cooled a little, we part with the swollen gelatin until it is completely dissolved.
In the recipe for multi-colored jelly, the layers give certain proportions. In any case, you can change them. The main thing is to know that the calculation of the powder goes like this: 50 g per 1 liter of water.
Prepare the dishes. In our case, it will be a glass pallet with high sides. Pour the first layer there and leave to settle. Can be put in a cool place to reduce time.
After about 30 minutes, repeat the process, only with cream, which is also boiled with sugar and diluted with the infused powder. Mix everything thoroughly and gently cover with a blue layer.
Juice should be careful. If it is very sweet, then do not add anything else, but simply boil and dilute with gelatin. This will be the last shade.
When the structure becomes dense, carefully pull out the layer onto a cutting board, cut it with a hot knife or cut it out with cookie cutters.
With berries
This recipe for multi-colored jelly is perfect for a romantic evening or a children's holiday.
We will need:
- berry juice - 1/2 cup;
- a set of frozen raspberries, strawberries, red currants - 150 g;
- milk - 100 ml;
- granulated sugar - 200 g;
- gelatin - 25 g.
Soak gelatin in a small amount of liquid.
To give transparency to the first layer, we dilute in equal doses water with juice and put on fire with half a glass of sugar. We wait until it boils and turns off. Let cool slightly, pour in most of the gelling liquid. Stir until crystals are completely dissolved.
I wash and dry the dishes (in our case - a cupcake mold). At the bottom, evenly spread the berries and fill with the first composition. We put it in the refrigerator so that everything freezes.
We take up milk, which we also mix with sugar, boil, beat, and dilute with swollen gelatin. Carefully pour onto the berry layer. Multi-colored jelly will be ready after everything settles down.
At your request, you can replace the filler. Take, for example, fruit.
Easter eggs
Let's make a surprise for all relatives.
We will prepare:
- eggs - 10 pcs.;
- 3 juices with different colors - half a glass;
- gelatin - 20 g.
Let's start with our “molds”. To do this, gently tap the blunt end of the raw egg with a sharp object. When the shell crack, make a small hole. Using a toothpick, mix the contents and pour into a cup. We need only a shell.
We put a saucepan with water on the fire. When it boils, gently lower the shell there first, and then drown. Cook a little. We expose the molds with the hole up.
We prepare multi-colored jelly according to the previous methods and pour it in a warm form. Leave in a cool place. Decorate with the usual options by sticking a sticker on the hole.
Broken glass
We use the practice of making a biscuit with the same name.
Ingredients:
- ready-made jelly of bright colors - 1.5 cups;
- fat cream - 1.5 cups;
- condensed milk - 2 tbsp. l .;
- pineapple juice - 1.5 cups;
- gelatin - 4 sachets.
How to make multi-colored jelly, we already know. Now it needs to be cut, and not necessarily the right shape.
As before, we dilute the powder in warm water and let it brew. We boil the juice, after a while mix with a gelling mass and cool a little. Separately, whip the cream with condensed milk. Mix everything with chopped pieces of different colors.
We put it in a silicone or other form and leave it for about 4 hours in the refrigerator.
Creative alcohol dessert
Serve it should be at corporate parties or holidays, where only adults are present.
Structure:
- gelatin - 50 g;
- vodka - 100 ml;
- cherry juice - ¼ cup;
- Kiwi juice - ¼ cup;
- some frozen berries.
As always, set gelatin to swell, diluting it in warm water.
We dilute vodka with 500 ml of chilled boiled water. We warm up to 100% each type of juice and add 30 ml of alcoholic product to them. We divide the gelling mass into all the cups and stir until completely dissolved.
We begin to fill the glasses. The transparent layer with the berries should be in the middle. Multi-colored jelly "under a degree" will be ready after complete cooling.
Tips
In the end, I would like to share some subtleties:
- it is possible to make chocolate jelly with layers, it is enough to dissolve the tile in milk;
- to get the side layers, tilt the dishes at each spill in different directions;
- to get smooth transitions, pour the next layer on a gentle jelly when it is not completely settled;
- it will be easier to remove from the mold if it is slightly heated;
- in the alcohol version of multi-colored jelly, you can use wine or brandy instead of vodka.
