In addition, the combination product "Coldact Plus" (instructions for use also attests to this) has a pronounced antipyretic, analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect. Also, the mentioned drug reduces swelling and severity of hyperemia of the mucosa of the upper respiratory sections and paranasal sinuses.
Description of the composition of the drug
The anti-inflammatory agent "Coldact Plus" is produced (instructions for use must be in every package) in the form of capsules with a transparent red cap. The main component of the analgesic drug is paracetamol, chlorpheniramine maleate and phenylephrine hydrochloride. Additional ingredients include sodium metabisulfite, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, corn starch, disodium edetate and purified talc. As well as shellac, diethyl phthalate, white gelatin, microcrystalline cellulose, dyes, ethyl cellulose, sucrose and povidone.
Indications for use
To take antipyretic and anti-inflammatory capsules "Coldact Plus", the instructions for use advise with the goal of symptomatic treatment of such acute forms of inflammatory diseases affecting the upper respiratory departments as sinusitis and rhinitis. List of contraindications
The manufacturer does not strictly recommend using the agent in question in case of severe atherosclerosis of the coronary arteries or individual intolerance to any of the components contained in the composition. Also, Coldact Plus tablets cannot be taken to people suffering from unstable angina pectoris, angle-closure glaucoma or severe arterial hypertension. In addition, the list of obvious contraindications includes the patient’s recent myocardial infarction, thyrotoxicosis, aortic aneurysm and severe urination difficulties. Pregnancy, the age of twelve years, and the period of breastfeeding are also reasons that prevent the use of anti-inflammatory tablets "Coldt Plus". And finally, doctors categorically forbid taking this analgesic at the same time as tricyclic type antidepressants and MAO inhibitors.
