How did the project on police workdays begin?
A group of enthusiasts with minimal fees and a micro budget at that time did not yet know that they were filming the cult "Cop" project, which would become the ancestor of the whole genre. And it will win the sincere recognition of the audience.
The premiere of the film, which received popular recognition, took place in 1997. Actors who played key roles, at one point became popular and recognizable. Russian viewers knew each of them by sight. Throughout all seasons, Cherdyntsev, a permanent major from the duty unit, is present in the television project. This hero is even difficult to perceive as a secondary character. Since over the many years of filming everyday life, “the eternal Borya”, played by Boris Alexandrovich Cherdyntsev, has become the hallmark of “Streets of Broken Lights”. Modestly behind the backs of his distinguished colleagues, he is always good-natured and serious, appears in each series at his workplace.

Then Lenfilm, and the whole country as a whole, touched hard times. Boris came under reduction. Lack of work, lack of money of the 90s forced him to look for an alternative. Therefore, Boris Alexandrovich Cherdyntsev began to try his hand at acting. He began acting in films since 1991, and almost all roles were episodic, and his surname sometimes did not even appear in the credits.

A year after the wedding, they gave birth to a daughter, called Margarita. At the moment, they “work” with their grandparents, are diligently engaged in the upbringing of their beloved grandson Dani.

Cherdyntsev's apartment is always open for friends. Lyubov Cherdyntseva is an excellent culinary specialist, an amazing hostess who managed to create an atmosphere in the house that she always wants to return to. Therefore, sometimes the whole crew "comes back" to shoot a new series for the next show. At the studio, this apartment is even called the eighth pavilion of Lenfilm.
