Squids - affordable and incredibly healthy seafood, rich in easily digestible protein, essential amino acids, polyunsaturated fats and other valuable substances. Despite all its properties and the absence of a characteristic fishy smell, it is not in great demand among domestic housewives. And completely in vain, because from it you can make many different goodies. In today's publication, we will consider several original recipes for salads with squid and pickles.
With hot pepper
This interesting spicy salad will surely appeal to lovers of spicy food. It consists of a minimum set of ingredients, and as a dressing we use hand-made sauce. To prepare such a dish, you will need:
- 4 frozen squid carcasses.
- On average fresh and pickled cucumber.
- Β½ pod of green hot pepper.
- Lemon (for decoration).
To create a sauce that will be served with squid and pickles, you will need:
- 2 tbsp. l good mayonnaise.
- 1 tbsp. l ketchup.
- ΒΌ medium onion.
- A clove of garlic.
- 1 tsp sesame oil.
The washed and cleaned squid is immersed in boiling water for a couple of minutes, cooled, cut into strips and poured into a deep bowl. Cucumber sticks and chopped hot pepper are sent to it. All this is mixed with a sauce made from mayonnaise, ketchup, chopped onion, crushed garlic and sesame oil, and decorated with lemon slices.
With champignons
We draw your attention to another not-so-complicated recipe for pickled cucumber and squid salad. To repeat it in your own kitchen, you will need:
- 200 g of raw champignons.
- 300 g of frozen squid.
- 3 chicken eggs.
- 2 pickles.
- 3 tbsp. l freshly squeezed lemon juice.
- 2 onions.
- 50 ml refined vegetable oil.
- Salt, aromatic spices, herbs and mayonnaise.
To start preparing salad with squids, pickles and mushrooms, you need to process components that require frying or boiling. Washed champignons are cut into slices, browned in vegetable oil, not forgetting to salt, and transferred to a deep bowl. In the freed pan fry chopped onions and send it to the mushrooms. Pieces of heat-treated squid, chopped boiled eggs and strips of cucumbers are added there. The finished dish is salted, pepper, watered with fresh lemon juice, mixed with mayonnaise and decorated with greens.
With carrots and canned peas
This high-calorie salad with squid and pickles is perfect for a full family dinner. It has a relatively high energy value and a pleasant, slightly sweet taste. To cook it, you will need:
- 300 g squid (canned).
- A small jar of green peas.
- 2 carrots.
- 3 pickles.
- 3 potatoes.
- Salt, spices and mayonnaise.
Boil potatoes and carrots in their uniforms, cool, peel, cut into not very large cubes and put them in a salad bowl. Peas, strips of canned squid and grated cucumbers are added to it. All this is salted, pepper and mixed with mayonnaise.
With cheese and onions
This simple and fairly light salad made of squid, eggs and pickles is prepared in literally fifteen minutes. Due to the lack of mayonnaise, it turns out low-calorie and can be used for diet food. To cook it, you will need:
- 170 g canned squid.
- A small red onion.
- Medium Pickle.
- Large egg.
- A bunch of green feather onions.
- 100 g of good hard cheese.
- Olive oil.
Pre-boiled and peeled egg is treated with a coarse grater and poured into a salad bowl. Cheese cubes, strips of canned squid, chopped green and red onions are sent there. The resulting salad is mixed with grated cucumber and olive oil.
With seaweed
This interesting diet salad of pickles and squids will surely appeal to young ladies who are watching their figure. It is good because it does not have a single gram of mayonnaise and other harmful or fatty components. To create it, you will need:
- 2 squid.
- Can of seaweed (canned).
- 2 pickles.
- Small onion.
- Β½ tbsp l 9% vinegar.
- 1.5 s l good olive oil.
- Salt and aromatic spices.
Washed and peeled squids are dipped in boiling water for a couple of minutes, cooled, chopped with a thin straw and poured into a deep container. Chopped onions, chopped cucumbers and sea kale are sent to it. All this is mixed with salt, spices, vinegar and olive oil, and then cleaned for several hours in the refrigerator.
With peas and mushrooms
This puff salad with calamari, pickles and eggs is not only excellent in taste, but also very attractive in appearance. Therefore, it can be safely prepared for the arrival of guests. To do this, you will need:
- 5 carcasses of squid.
- 400 g of raw champignons.
- Medium carrot.
- Small onion.
- 400 g of green peas (canned).
- 100 g of good hard cheese.
- 3 pickles.
- 4 chicken eggs.
- 300 g quality mayonnaise.
- Salt and vegetable oil.
Carrots and eggs are rinsed under a tap, boiled in different pots, cooled, peeled and chopped without mixing with each other. Mushrooms are diced and fried with chopped onions in heated vegetable fat, not forgetting to salt.
Stripes of thermally processed squid, grated cucumbers, chopped carrots, mushrooms, cheese chips, green peas and eggs are alternately laid out in a flat-bottomed plate. A mayonnaise mesh is applied to each of the above layers. The resulting dish is decorated to your liking and kept in the refrigerator for a short time.
With pumpkin
This salad with squid and pickles will appeal to even those who do not like seafood too much. It has a pleasant, slightly sweet taste and does not leave a feeling of heaviness in the stomach. To create it, you will need:
- Fresh frozen squid carcass.
- 110 g of champignons.
- 60 g of pumpkin.
- 2 chicken eggs.
- 2 pickles.
- Lean oil, parsley and mayonnaise.
The squid is thawed, washed, freed from everything unnecessary and briefly boiled in boiling water. The carcass prepared in this way is completely cooled and chopped with a thin straw. Washed mushrooms are cut into plastics and fried in preheated vegetable fat along with pumpkin sticks. Then vegetables and seafood are laid in a deep clean container and mixed with boiled chopped eggs, chopped cucumbers and mayonnaise. The resulting dish is sprinkled with chopped parsley or any other herbs.
With shrimp and tomato
This spicy salad with squid and pickles has an interesting refreshing taste and light aroma. It is an extremely successful combination of cheese, vegetables and seafood. To prepare it, you will need:
- 200 g of peeled frozen shrimp.
- 200 g of champignons (pickled).
- 200 g squid.
- 4 eggs.
- Small onion.
- 2 pickles.
- 2 tomatoes.
- 200 g of good hard cheese.
- Salt.
- Vegetable oil or mayonnaise.
Thawed and washed seafood is boiled, cooled and chopped with straws. Then they are combined with cubes of mushrooms, half onion rings and slices of tomatoes. All this is mixed with chopped boiled eggs, chopped mushrooms and cheese chips. The resulting dish is salted and watered with mayonnaise or vegetable oil.
With sorrel and potatoes
The basis for the preparation of this fortified salad is also seafood and vegetables. To make this tasty and healthy dish, you will need:
- 250 g of smoked squid.
- 4 young potatoes.
- A bunch of fresh sorrel.
- 2 eggs.
- Small onion.
- 2 medium pickles.
- 1 tsp not very spicy mustard.
- Salt, vegetable oil and greens.
Pre-washed potatoes are boiled in their uniforms, cooled, peeled, cut into cubes and transferred to a deep salad bowl. Strips of smoked squid, circles of steep eggs, onion half rings and cucumber sticks are sent to it. All this is mixed with chopped herbs and chopped sorrel, and then watered with a sauce consisting of salt, mustard and vegetable oil. Serve this dish preferably immediately after cooking. Having stood a little, it begins to quickly lose its aesthetic appeal and taste.
