Not sure what to cook in the microwave? You can please your guests with fried chicken with a delicious crust. We bring to your attention a few simple recipes.
Chicken in Apple Sauce
First you need to prepare the following products:
- medium-sized chicken breasts (large shanks are also suitable);
- one apple;
- 100 g of hard cheese;
- 3 tbsp. tablespoons of ketchup (hot);
- one medium onion;
- spices, salt (to taste);
- vegetable (unrefined) oil.
Cooking process:

We take a glass pan, put chicken breasts (drumsticks) in it and pour the oil into the bottom. At this stage, you can already salt and add your favorite spices. Next, close the pan with a lid and put it in the microwave. With a power of 850-900 watts, the cooking time is 10 minutes. While the chicken is in the microwave, you need to cut the apple into slices, and the onion into thin rings. After 10 minutes, we take out the pan. Carefully remove the chicken from it. It will need to be poured with ketchup, as well as overlaid with apple slices and onion rings. Now again we put the chicken meat in the pan, cover and put in the oven for 10 minutes. Until the full preparation of our dish there is very little left. Mix the sauce with poultry meat, sprinkle it all with grated cheese, and then put it into the oven without covering it. After just 1.5 minutes, the fragrant chicken in the microwave will be ready. As you can see, this recipe does not provide anything complicated. You can prepare a full lunch or dinner in just a few minutes.

We offer you another interesting recipe - a chicken in a sleeve in the microwave. Preparation of poultry meat is carried out in the same way as if you were going to cook it in the oven. We start by taking chicken carcass, washing it and, if necessary, cleaning it. Now deal with the sleeve. Its length must be selected so that after packing a whole carcass, it is possible to freely wrap the ends up. Usually, special clips are included with the sleeve in which the chicken is cooked in the microwave. If they are not, then you can use ordinary threads.
So that during cooking a chicken crust forms on the chicken carcass, you should thoroughly coat the sleeve with the sauce both outside and inside. Salt and sprinkle with pepper. Now gently stick the chicken and fix the sides with clamps (we tie it with threads). Before sending meat to the oven, be sure to check the reliability of the fastenings made.
The chicken in the microwave will be cooked in a large (not flat) plate with sides. We put the form in the microwave and straighten the sleeve (it should not fit snugly against the carcass). We select the maximum value and set the timer for 20 minutes. This option is suitable when a small chicken is used. If you purchased a large carcass in the store to feed the whole family, then its cooking time increases to 30 minutes.
After this time, you need to pick up a fork and pierce the meat. The clear liquid flowing out of it indicates that the chicken is ready for use. If blood comes out with the juice, it is too early to get the carcass out of the microwave.
