Pork layer: recipes

The pork layer is a versatile dish that can be both everyday and festive. It can be eaten simply with bread or a side dish or added to other dishes. You can cook brisket in the oven or slow cooker in different ways. The recipes are simple and inexpensive.

Oven-baked pork in a foil: recipe

Products:

  • pork layer - 1.5 kg;
  • garlic - 4-5 cloves;
  • coarse salt - 2 tablespoons;
  • ground pepper - 2 teaspoons.

Scrape off the layer with a knife, lightly pour over water, pat it dry with a napkin. Grind the garlic, mix it with salt and pepper. Grate pieces of meat with the mixture and wrap them in foil in two or three layers. Bake in the oven for about 5 hours at a temperature of 130 Β° C, but not higher. Remove the pork from the stove, let it cool and unfold the foil. Put a load on the layer for the night. In the morning, remove the fat that has formed under oppression. Cut the meat into pieces and serve on a plate.

In sauce

For this recipe for the pork layer, you need to take the fleshy brisket with skin.

Products:

  • brisket - 1.5 kg;
  • two onions;
  • garlic - 5 cloves;
  • coarse salt - 10 g;
  • chili - 1 pepper;
  • olive oil - two tablespoons;
  • dried rosemary - two teaspoons;
  • ground black pepper - one teaspoon;
  • water - half a liter.

Cooking:

  1. Mix pepper and salt with olive oil.
  2. On the skin of the brisket, make incisions crosswise. Coat the pieces with a mixture of oil and spices.
  3. Cut the onion into rings, garlic cloves into halves (together with the skin).
  4. Onion put onions, then garlic slices up, then a layer of skin up. Add chili, rosemary, water.
  5. Cover the baking sheet with foil and place in the oven for two hours at 180 Β° C. Open the oven door after about 1.5 hours and pour a little water into the pan.
  6. Remove the finished layer from the stove and cool.
  7. Collect the sauce, which was formed during baking of the pork layer, into a container, beat in a blender and rub through a sieve. Chop the pork before serving, lightly fry until golden brown (about 2 minutes) and serve with the prepared sauce.

As a side dish, mashed potatoes or sauerkraut are suitable.

With potatoes in the sleeve

Products:

  • interlayer - 1 kg;
  • olive oil - 50 ml;
  • potatoes - 1 kg;
  • herbs are spicy;
  • salt;
  • pepper.
Layer and spices

Cooking:

  1. Boil peeled potatoes in unsalted water (halves or quarters for 10 minutes).
  2. Put the finished potatoes on a napkin or paper towel to dry it. Sprinkle with olive oil, pepper, salt, sprinkle with herbs.
  3. Rub the brisket with a mixture of spices and herbs.
  4. Place the pork in the baking sleeve, tie it and send to the oven on the baking sheet.
  5. The pork layer is baked in the oven at 180 Β° C for one hour. Remove from the stove, untie the sleeve on one side, place the potatoes there and continue cooking for another 40 minutes.

The finished layer can be served on the table with potatoes.

Pork layer: recipe for a slow cooker

Products:

  • interlayer - 1 kg;
  • tomato paste - a tablespoon;
  • soy sauce - two tablespoons;
  • olive oil - a third of a glass;
  • garlic - two cloves;
  • homemade mayonnaise - 40 g;
  • paprika - a teaspoon;
  • salt.

Cooking:

  1. Scrape the meat with a knife, rinse, wipe with a towel or napkin. Cut into portions 10 cm long and 5 cm thick.
  2. Combine oil, tomato, mayonnaise, soy sauce, chopped garlic, paprika, salt.
  3. Put the marinade on the pieces of the layer, put them in the dishes and pickle for about two hours, you can leave the refrigerator in a plastic bag overnight.
  4. Pour oil into the multicooker bowl to slightly cover the bottom, lay the pork on its side (where the layers are visible) and cook for 12 minutes in the frying mode, then turn the pieces on the other side and fry the same amount without the lid.
  5. Turn the meat down with bacon, set the β€œBaking” program for an hour, close the lid. After 30 minutes, flip the pieces of fat up and cook for another 30 minutes.
  6. Remove the prepared layer from the multicooker, cool, cut and serve.

According to this recipe, the pork layer can be cooked in the oven.

Pickled

Products:

  • pork layer - 1 kg;
  • vegetable oil - 20 ml;
  • lemon - 1 piece;
  • garlic - head;
  • spices to taste;
  • herbs are spicy.

Cooking:

Scrape the pork with a knife, rinse with water, and dry. Divide the clove of garlic into cloves and peel. Fill the garlic layer.

Prepare a marinade from vegetable oil, squeezed from lemon juice, herbs, salt and ground pepper. Grate them a piece of pork and leave for an hour.

Place the pickled layer in the baking sleeve, pierce it in several places to let off steam.

Heat the oven to 200 Β° C, place pork in it for 1.5 hours. Cut the sleeve 10-15 minutes before the end of cooking - so the meat will turn out more rosy.
