Since childhood, my mother tempered me, walked with me in frosty weather, often bathed, taught me to do exercises correctly. Thanks to her perseverance, probably many diseases pass me by. Nevertheless, colds are sometimes tormented. If you start treatment in time, you can quickly get rid of a sore throat, but sometimes a sore throat flows into a cough. And at such moments, the drug “hezz 100” helps out especially.
This drug is among the mucolytic. They are produced in the form of effervescent tablets of 100 mg or 200 mg.
The composition of the “hezz 100” tablet contains the active substance 100 mg of acetylcysteine, anhydrous sodium carbonate, anhydrous citric acid, sodium bicarbonate, saccharin, ascorbic acid, wild berry or blackberry flavors as excipients.
The tablets are round in shape, with a single sided notch, white in color, with a characteristic smell of wild berries.
"hezz 100" is prescribed for chronic and acute diseases of the respiratory tract, the course of which is accompanied by the separation of viscous mucus. It is also prescribed for bronchitis, otitis media, pneumonia, sinusitis, laryngitis.
The drug "hezz 100" instruction recommends for oral administration. After taking the drug, it is quickly eliminated from the digestive tract and in the liver turns into cysteine.
Tablets "hezz 100" before taking must be dissolved in water, taken after meals. The doses are as follows.
- Children (who are over 14 years old) and adults 2 tablets up to three times a day.
- For children aged 6-14 years, 1 tablet up to 4 times a day.
- For babies from 2 to 5 years, also 1 tablet up to 3 times a day.
The duration of treatment depends on the severity and type of the disease and in any case is determined by the attending physician. Usually, treatment lasts from 5 to 7 days. With cystic fibrosis and a chronic form of bronchitis, you should drink the "hezz" tablets for a long time. Application is necessary for the prevention of diseases. It should be noted that each pill should be accompanied by heavy drinking. It should be dissolved in a glass dish, in no case do not use metal containers, since active substances can come into contact with metal.
It is worth noting that this drug has side effects. Rarely, heartburn, nausea, stomatitis, bleeding, diarrhea, tinnitus, frequent headaches can develop. Allergic effects such as skin rash, itching, arterial hypotension, urticaria, bronchio spasm, and tachycardia may appear even less frequently.
"ACC" is contraindicated in the following cases:
- with blood spitting;
- peptic ulcer of the duodenum and stomach in an acute form;
- pregnancy;
- with breastfeeding;
- with increased sensitivity to any of the components of the drug;
- with pulmonary hemorrhage ;
- children under 6 years old.
This medicine should be taken with caution in patients with asthma, renal and hepatic insufficiency, with impaired adrenal function. Children under 14 years of age are prohibited from a daily dose of 600 mg.
You should not drink “hezz 100” and other cough suppressants at the same time, since there is a danger of developing secretory stagnation due to a decrease in the cough reflex. Tetracyclines should be taken 2 hours after taking this drug, otherwise the vasoconstrictor effect is enhanced.
"hezz 100" (the instruction states) does not affect the ability to drive a car.
It should be stored at room temperature, in places out of the reach of children. After the expiration date, the drug is prohibited.
There were no cases of overdose, however, it is still not worth abusing. From pharmacies dispensed without a doctor’s prescription.
