Polina Agureeva is a young film actress, who still has a few filmography. But her popularity is already envied by many famous Russian artists. And all because each of her roles is a benchmark for acting reincarnation. She does not play - her heroines live on stage or on a movie screen completely. Such a unique work could not go unnoticed either by ordinary moviegoers or by experts in the field of cinematography. So, the subject of our conversation is the biography of Polina Agureeva.
Childhood and school years
Agureeva Polina Vladimirovna was born in Volgograd on September 9, 1976, however, almost immediately after this event, her family moved from the regional center to the village of Mikhailovka in the Volgograd region, where Polina spent her early childhood.
In 1983, she moved to Moscow with her parents, younger brother and sister. Teachers and classmates of Polina speak differently about her school years: on the one hand, the girl was a quiet âbookâ child, on the other, she was always very active in public life (she even led the schoolâs pioneer squad for some time). But no one ever doubted that Polina would certainly become an artist.
No one doubted her talent
The acting talent of the girl began to appear even in school years. Starting from elementary grades, almost all school performances took place with her participation. Provincial spontaneity, which she did not lose in the capital, in combination with her innate acting talent, already fascinated both teachers and peers.
In high school, the girl was already purposefully preparing for admission to GITIS, where, after leaving school, she entered from her first attempt - Petr Fomenko immediately saw the future star and took it to his workshop.
Agureeva Polina - theater actress
Fomenko did not lose - his student was already a well-established artist, whose talent had only to be slightly polished. Debut for Pauline was a small role in the student production of "Barbara" (1997), with which the aspiring actress coped brilliantly. Very soon, she was given the first major role in her "big" theater in her creative career - the play "One Absolutely Happy Village". This role opened the theater world a new rising star. And the production itself, primarily due to the outstanding play by Agureeva, was recognized as the best performance of Fomenkoâs Workshop of the 1997 repertoire and the highlight of the theater repertoire for several seasons in a row.
Awards found their heroine
The talent of a rising star did not go unnoticed by theater critics and experts: in late 1997, Polina Agureeva was awarded the Grand Prix of the Moscow Debuts Theater Festival. This was only the first of the subsequent theater and "cinema" awards of Agureeva:
- Prizes "Seagull 2000" and "Triumph 2000".
- State Prize of the Russian Federation 2001.
- Prize of the 2004 Kinotavr festival.
- Small Golden Lion of the 2006 Venice Film Forum.
- 2014 Golden Eagle Award.
Agureeva devoted the first years of her creative career exclusively to the theater - she was involved in several productions of the Fomenko Workshop. However, despite her incredible busyness in her native theater, the young actress happily responded to Oleg Menshov's offer to take part in the production of his entreprise âWoe from Witâ. She did not refuse the director of the Paris Theater Nevezhina, playing in her production of the play by the English playwright Tom Stoppard.
Polina Agureeva: films
In the movie, Polina Agureeva made her debut in 2000, when she was offered to play the role of Liza's maid in the film âWoe from Witâ, which was âfamiliarâ to her in the theater. Well, recognition of her as a talented film actress brought reincarnation to Lala Telepneva in the film Sergei Ursulyak âLong Farewellâ (2004).
Brief oblivion
Despite the huge success of âLong Farewellâ and instant audience popularity, two years after this, Polina no one offered new movie roles. This was partly due to her pregnancy (in 2005 she gave birth to a son). And only in 2006, Ivan Vyrypaev proposed Agureeva to play the main role in the lyrical movie drama "Euphoria". The film turned out amazing (it was noted by experts at many film festivals). But Polina again fell out of the movie actorâs clip for two years, only this time because of her own fault - she didnât have a soul for what was offered to her at that time. In addition, she loved the theater with all her heart and was not ready to exchange the stage for the "cheap" popularity of the "soap opera" film artist.
A breakthrough in her career occurred in 2007, when she agreed to play singer Tonya Tsarko in the series âLiquidationâ by Sergei Ursulyak. After the release of this film on television, offers rained down on Polina one by one. In less than four years, she starred in five films:
- the image of Anna in the TV series "Isaev" (2009);
- the role of a maid in the movie "Everything is All Right, Mom!" (2010 year);
- the image of Anninki in the film "Lord Golovlev" (2010);
- Katyaâs role in the film âWho Was Notâ (2010);
- the image of Evgenia Shaposhnikova in the film "Life and Fate".
Film critics noted that each of these images of young talent can be considered a real masterpiece, worthy of the highest ratings. Polina surprisingly combines lyrical trepidation and spontaneity with pronounced sexuality. Such a woman simply can not help but fall in love.
In the near future, admirers of Agureevaâs talent will be able to enjoy watching her new works - very soon lyrical films âSex, Coffee and Cigarettesâ and âFarewell, Belovedâ, as well as the historical drama âKuprinâ will appear on the movie screens.
Vocal data of Agureeva
In addition to excellent acting, film critics note the talented performance of Agureeva romances. The songs that she independently performed in the TV series âLiquidationâ and âIsaevâ are now an integral part of her theatrical concerts and creative meetings with the audience. And without that, touching and lyrical romances performed by Polina sound so gentle and sincere that for many listeners tears come to their eyes themselves.
Polina Agureeva: personal life
In this area, the biography of Polina Agureeva did not work out as well as she would like. Marriage with director Ivan Vyrypaev (with whom they met during the filming of "Euphoria") was short-lived. 4 years of continuous struggle between personal life and the creative plans of both spouses ended in divorce in 2007. Ivan Vyrypaev and Polina Agureeva could not combine family and work. Even the birth of Petitâs son in 2005 did not help save this patriarchal (as the artist herself calls him) marriage. The divorce went peacefully: as Polina says, smart people will not throw stones at each other.

Speaking about her personal life after marriage, Agureeva honestly admits that she can safely be called a âmother-fanâ - she spends all her free time from rehearsals, performances and filming with her son. Together they read, sing, play computer games, and roller-skate. Raising a baby actress helps her mother, brother, sister, as well as a nanny. Re-marriage is not yet included in the artistâs life plans.
Agureeva is a big fan of Soviet and Russian military films, who are ready to watch continuously all day. From foreign cinema, she likes the works of such masters as Fellini, Bertolucci, Almodovar, Blieu and Kusturica. When asked about music preferences, she shyly said that she did not like contemporary pop music at all. Pauline prefers to listen to the masterpieces of the classics: the works of Mozart, Saint-Saens and Shostakovich.
