Many people claimed that when they saw "Hands resist him," they experienced a sharp deterioration in well-being, up to and including loss of consciousness. John Marley, who dared to acquire a picture with an extraordinary reputation, died shortly after the purchase, and the painting was strangely found in a landfill. After that, the most terrible picture in the world several times changed the owners who were in a hurry to get rid of it, because they felt its incomprehensible influence. Now it was a question not only of ill health, but also of ghosts - a boy and a girl who seemed to have come off the canvas and walked around.
Later, the “damned” canvas became one of the lots of eBay online auction. The notoriety of the picture only increased the number of visitors who want to look at it. Then the canvas wandered from one museum to another for a long time, until one mentally ill woman spoiled it with a knife. However, in this work the list of "the most terrible paintings of artists" does not end there. Moreover, it is constantly updated with fresh copies. So, we are waiting for new mystical stories.
