Soy sauce is one of the oldest spices used in cooking to this day. It was created in China 2500 years ago. In Japan, this product spread much later, thanks to Buddhist monks. The Japanese introduced their ingredients into the recipe, improved the cooking technology. And now
the Japanese version of soy sauce is better known. It is prepared from
soybeans, boiling them and mixing them later with wheat or barley flour. Then there is a long fermentation, at least 40 days, and the maximum time of this process can reach 2-3 years. When the sauce acquires the necessary taste, it remains only to filter it, after which it is ready to eat. This is a great seasoning for various dishes. Dark soy sauce is often used as a marinade for meat dishes, light has a more liquid consistency and is suitable for salads and side dishes. It is very useful for the human body, as it contains proteins, amino acids and vitamins. It is believed that soy sauce slows down the aging process in the body.
Most often, this wonderful product is used as a barbecue sauce and barbecue. Meat marinated in soy sauce is very tasty. It becomes tender, acquires an unusual taste and cooks very quickly.
Kebab with soy sauce - recipe for chicken
For 1 kg of chicken we cook marinade:
- soy sauce - 4 tablespoons;
- olive oil - 60 grams;
- lemon juice - 3 tablespoons;
- garlic - 5 cloves;
- ground pepper.
Wash the chicken meat, dry it, cut into slices of about 3 cm. Grind the garlic. Mix all the ingredients for the marinade, add ground pepper carefully, given that soy sauce is already spicy. Place the meat in the marinade, close the dishes and put in the refrigerator for 2 hours. During this time, prepare the coals, after which you can start stringing pieces of fillet on skewers. Cooking chicken very quickly, do not forget to constantly turn the skewers.
Pork skewers with vegetables, pickled in soy sauce
Products:
- pork - 2 kg;
- bell pepper - 3 pieces;
- tomato - 4 pieces;
- onion - 4 pieces;
- soy sauce - 100 ml;
- mayonnaise - 150 grams;
- ketchup - 2 tablespoons;
- mustard - 2 tablespoons;
- water - 400 ml;
- to taste vinegar, spices, sugar, salt.
The combination of products such as vegetables, pork, soy sauce gives the finished dish a very original taste. Barbecue will turn out juicy, delicate, aromatic. First, prepare the kebab sauce. Mix mayonnaise, soy sauce, mustard, ketchup, salt. Cut the meat into large pieces, place in the marinade and put in the refrigerator for the night. Vegetables also need to be cut into large pieces, onions - rings. We prepare a marinade for vegetables: boil water, add vinegar, salt, spices. Cool, pour the marinade over vegetables and also send overnight in the refrigerator. The next day you can cook.
Original kebab sauce - for ready-made meat dishes
Mix ketchup, soy sauce, mayonnaise, finely chopped greens - parsley, basil, dill. Add chopped garlic. Beat the mixture with a blender. Suitable for any meat dish, but it is best to serve such a sauce to a barbecue, hot and mouth-watering.
