Cake "Machine" for children

Cake "Machine", the manufacture of which will be considered in this article, can serve as a good surprise for a child on his birthday or any other holiday.

So, before proceeding with the preparation of this interesting dessert, you need to choose a model of the future machine. The cake will be modeled according to the sample.

Ingredients for a biscuit: four eggs, two glasses of sugar, five hundred grams of sour cream, half a spoon of soda, one and a half glasses of flour, one spoon of cocoa. It should not be very airy, dense - so it will be easier to assemble a machine from it.

We bake a sponge cake in a round form. To do this, beat eggs with sugar, add three tablespoons of sour cream, soda, slaked with vinegar, flour, and beat thoroughly, add cocoa and put on a parchment-lined form. Bake a biscuit for about forty minutes.

We begin to make a cake "Machine". When the cake is baked and cooled, it is necessary to cut off the upper part and cut it lengthwise into several parts, each of which is soaked in fruit syrup. Next, you need to prepare fruits, for example, canned peaches, cherries or bananas for a layer of cakes, as well as a cream.

Ingredients for the cream: three glasses of fat cream, one glass of powdered sugar, one hundred grams of butter, vanilla sugar to taste.

Sugar is added to the cream and the mixture is boiled over low heat, stirring continuously. Then add vanilla sugar and cool. Beat the butter for ten minutes, then gradually pour the creamy mixture into it. Everything is thoroughly mixed.

The cakes that make up the Typewriter cake, need to interlayer with fruit and coat with cream, part of which must be set aside. Then the cakes should be put in a cold place for six hours so that they are well saturated.

Next, give the cake a machine shape. To do this, cut off two semicircles on both sides of it and put them on top of the slices down, after interlacing with cream. Thus the cabin turns out.

Further, the “Typewriter” cake for children is constructed as follows: with a sharp knife, cut off excess pieces of biscuit and from them “mold” all the missing large pieces, focusing on the model of the machine that is used as a sample. At the same time, places are planned for future wheels: cavities are carefully cut out with a spoon and a knife. Then, on the bottom of the figure, the bottom is cut off at an angle in depth by one and a half centimeters.

The remaining cream is coated with the “Machine” cake and put back in a cold place for an hour and a half.

Meanwhile, a cream is prepared under the mastic.

Ingredients for cream: one hundred and fifty grams of butter, two hundred grams of melted chocolate or condensed milk.

All products need to be mixed well. When the cake has cooled and soaked, it is removed and smeared with cream using a brush.

Cooking milk mastic.

Ingredients for mastic: powdered sugar, powdered milk and condensed milk. All in equal proportions.

Powdered milk and powder are mixed, condensed milk is gradually added until the mixture acquires a thick consistency resembling plasticine. From this mastic you can sculpt anything.

The mastic is rolled out and completely covered with the cake, smoothing it with your hands and shaping the machine. Next, take a few drops of food coloring, dilute it with vodka and quickly apply the mixture to the cake with a sponge.

Cooking wheels. To do this, you can use round cookies or marshmallow halves, which are inserted into pre-made holes on the machine.

Glass and headlights are cut out of white mastic using pre-made patterns from parchment and glued onto a cake, moistened with water using a brush.

Cake "Machine" from the mastic is ready. He will not leave indifferent any child, since he is not only distinguished by his beautiful appearance, but also by his excellent taste.
