Lull in work
Due to the rules of the faculty, Kostin refused the proposed role in the film "War and Peace." Perhaps this work would open it in a new way, and everyone would know who the actor Vladimir Kostin is. Personal life did not work out. The first marriage in which the son was born, after five years of marriage, broke up.

Fatal companion
One February evening in 1975, the actor returned from a friend. On the way home, a taxi driver took a companion - a plainclothes policeman. Later he asked him for a double fare. The policeman was indignant and took both to the station.
There they had a preventive conversation with men. The artist asked to go home to his pregnant wife, but this angered the police. He was badly beaten. Actor Vladimir Kostin died on the spot on February 1 at the age of 36.
