After some time, the word was adopted by the Egyptians and Romans, modified it a little, and it began to sound like a conoreum. Soon, this word traveler appeared in European languages ​​and firmly settled in French. In addition, the word "canapes" in France means "a small sofa with a curved back." Either the skillful chef seemed like small sandwiches with this item, or it was more convenient to eat them sitting on this sofa, but this name of the culinary product was firmly fixed to this dish.
